Hi all. Have a 16 DX. Having a weird electrical issue and not sure where to go from here. Bike won't start and sometimes I have no lights on IM. Using a voltmeter at main fuse when acting up I will have 4volts. I have wiring diagram and have follow path to each fuse component on circuit and removed fuse and checked if voltage returned to 12v . Sometimes I would pull a ride on circuit , have 12 volts , put back in and it drop back to 4v and thought cool I know it's on this circuit ... Electrical issue

Preferably vivid black. I was zipping along on some twisties and hit a harsh bump, must have popped mine off at the top and drug it. Gouged it pretty good. I could repair it but a paint kit is $50...

Hey everyone, glad to be here. I’ve been into motorcycles for quite a while, but the V-Rod has always stood out to me because of its looks, power, and completely different character compared with most Harleys. I finally got the chance to pick one up and have been enjoying getting to know the bike. I joined the forum mainly to learn from other owners, get some maintenance and setup tips, and see what modifications people have found worthwhile.

Is there any high mileage V RODs out there ? I would like to know how many miles a person can realistically get between Valve Adjustments.
