Mobile Gaming

Do you play any mobile games? What are they? Recently I started playing an idle cat rpg called Catfinity . https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...inity.game Ads are out of hand, so I tend to only go for games that are ad-free. And so far I like this one except for the fishing part. It annoys me.

Is subscribing to Zen Buddhism hypocritical?

I chop wood, carry water everyday (Zen proverb). I don't subscribe to a higher power; however, I really take hold of how Zen causes me to center myself and keep myself true. I've been really getting into Zen, and during some of my meditations I questioned myself. I still don't believe in anything supernatural, bit is it hypocritical to meditate and center yourself with Zen if you're an atheist?

Hello everybody! I'm Stupid Person!

In the spirit of humility, I have named myself Stupid Person. I'm just kidding. It's my real name. I come from the longstanding Person family, and I'm named after my grandfather...Stupid (God rest his soul - love ya granddad!). But let's keep it informal. You can just call me Stupid, or Stu. But Stupid is better. Ask me anything. I'm incredibly narcissistic and I enjoy the attention. As you can imagine, I probably disagree with you people on just about everything, so feel free to ask me about my opinions. Fun fact : I'm right about everything and I never use AI.

Communism/Socialism (same thing) is very stupid

The purpose of this thread is to play out a thought experiment. I'm a factory owner, and my employees want to control the means of production and get a share of the profits because they claim that they produce all the value. In the role of a representative of my employees, convince me to go along with this ludicrous idea.

What to do about the birth rate crisis

I hope this is the most appropriate place to post this. Mongolia, Israel, Kazakhstan, and a very small handful of other countries have pretty good birth rates, while the rest of the world is declining. Even Africa, with its generally high birth rates, is declining, albeit more slowly. Mongolia is a very interesting case. Their culture very strongly promotes having kids, and they even give awards. Meanwhile Hungary has tried financial incentives with only limited, temporary success. It seems to me that culture is the biggest factor. All other factors are secondary, although they make a difference too. If a country really wants to improve their birth rates, it's totally doable. It just requires the will, but on a large scale.

What exactly is islamophobia?

It's one of those words that has always confused me, like homophobia. Does islamophobia mean a fear of islam or a dislike of islam?
