I am intending to prepare my PIP application form answers before I apply for PIP so that I am not under time pressure to complete it. Is there somewhere on here or elsewhere that I can download a digital copy of the most up to date PIP form? Thank you. Rob

I attended a HAAS face to face appointment on 14 September On 16 September I received a text to say they have received the report and a design eill be made in 6 weeks time. I was asked by the organisation that supported mr through the review to ask for aPa4 report to be sent to me.. I received the copy on 29th September There was glaring inconsistencies in the report. One was that the assessor said the reward should be awarded for two years. No mention made of current difficulties. Shw states the the client will get batter. She allocated 9 points reducing mi e from 11 to 9 points. My concern is also the 2 year review. I am a 68 yeard old pensioner. In 2025 Dwp informed me I will have a light touch review every 10 years since I am a old ahe pensioner. I accept the change in my circumstances meant if I report it the dep will make a assesment of the whole award My question is what do I do if I noticed these inconsistencies and how fo o agrees it before the decsuk. Was made or fo k wait for a decision and ask for a mandatory review Thank you for replies in advance Albert
Can anyone tell me what support I am entitled to if I accept a job offer whilst I am on benefits such as UC limited capacity for work benefit and lower rate of PIP
Hi , first off if ive posted this before do forgive my memory ! My work coach ( ive had two different ones ) have turned off all work related boxes . Since last year ive had mentioned to me fleetinly by the first one of a kinda mental health centre support hub its definately nit sonething i need or coud get to so i just thanjed her for letting ne kniw if its existance and said id let my daughter know ( she lives two hours away but see her at weekends ) of it . Anyway iv have last couple of months had a new work coach ( he didnt send letter out to say my appointment last month was cancelled and rebooked as my last one did as i dont have a online account so thats not boding well lol ) he also fleetingly mentiobed this mental health / heahth hub again last two appointments i told him i rembered he had mentioned it before . Feel pressured now ? Whats his aim ? I guess tgeres not much else he can say in the appointments on the phone they only last about 15 minutes it just feels he keeps mentioning it so feel now tgeres agenda and i dont like it ! My mental health having a life long degenertive chronic conditions are mine to live with and decide what i need or do not ! And this hub is not appropiate or wanted by me ! I dont want to be rude to him but am getting annoyed now !
I know many in here faced the same thing as myself - a random deduction around April/May for ESA - instead of £609.05, a lower amount deducted. I had around £280ish deducted so was aware a repayment would eventually need to be made. I received a letter in July detailing this (I never called or wrote in my journal as I have been incorrectly penalised by DWP in the past for flagging their errors, and I saw that enough people had experienced this to know that it was a widespread error and not just me) and it stated how much I had been overpaid by. According to my calculations, regardless of how much ESA you actually received during that month, they still only deducted the old £609.05 for the entire assessment period, so if your assessment period timing means that even if you received 1 day at the old rate and 29 days at the new rate, you'll technically receive more money that month. However, my statement with the incorrect deduction also had a random "debt" deduction of around £60, which I assumed was part of the error. When they updated my statement to the correct deductions of £609.06, the deduction was still included on my statement, and because each subsequent deduction on my statements were around £63, I assumed they'd left the "error" deduction and counted it towards my repayments. I worked out how much my deductions should be each month and kept a running total. This months statement just arrive, and I should only have about £13 left to pay back, but instead they've conti
I'm completing an ADP renewal in Scotland and I'm struggling with the "Moving Around" activity. My Long Covid and POTS cause fatigue, post-exertional symptom worsening (PEM), dizziness, brain fog and fluctuating mobility. I don't have a fixed distance that I can reliably walk.On some occasions I can walk around a supermarket or walk considerably further than I could on a worse day. However, doing so may leave me significantly more fatigued and limited later that day or for several days afterwards.Because of this, I don't know how to answer questions about whether I can walk 20-50 metres, 50-200 metres or more than 200 metres. My ability varies, and the consequences of walking are often delayed. When assessing the Moving Around activity for ADP, should I focus on:the maximum distance I can sometimes achieve, the distance I can manage most of the time, the distance I can manage reliably and repeatedly without significant after-effects,or something else? How do people with fluctuating conditions such as Long Covid, ME/CFS or POTS accurately explain their mobility when there is no single distance that reflects their real-world ability
Do I need to inform pip that my daughter is going to university , she has just finished college and the EHCP states she still has needs the same needs ehcps don’t carry on at uni but She has been awarded DSA , for all kinds of equipment , exam extensions etc study skills tuition , travel etc non of her needs have changed and nothing of what she does contradicts anything because her needs are genuine Pip know she was at college and had an EHCP When her pip is reviewed I will use her DSA assessment as evidence so I’m not trying to keep anything a secret . It’s literally 12 hours a week they’ve condenses her timetable Thanks in advance
Hi there Pip says it can be reviewed anytime after the 1st September 2026 , I’m an appointee for my daughter , the post in our area is shocking and second class has been known recently to take a month , local MPS are dealing with the sorting office . Question , I’m worried it could have been posted and the deadline might be missed , if I ring and ask and the review hasn’t been issued yet , will it trigger the review me ringing . Don’t want to trigger it if it’s not issued yet she had a year left thanks in advance
Hi! My circumstances have changed, so I've asked for PIP review. I have read through my 2023 form and compared it with how difficult/easy something is now. What evidence do I need to submit to them? Currently, I have a letter from a consultant post-surgery and a letter from another consultant following an appointment re possible long COVID, which I didn't have in 2023. Some things have become easier post-surgery, but in the main, most of my issues have remained the same due to my underlying condition. Is there anywhere I could get information on how to complete an award form? It's an AR1 UI - how your disability affects you form Thanks
Hi everyone, I’m a new member and wanted to make a suggestion. I find reading, searching, and processing long forum discussions difficult because of my disabilities. Would the forum consider an optional ChatGPT/Gemini API integration to make the site more accessible? It could help members summarise threads, find relevant information, explain answers in simpler language, and keep track of replies. I think this could be particularly helpful for claimants and carers with dyslexia, ADHD, learning or cognitive difficulties. Just an idea — I’d be interested to hear what others think.
Hello everyone i need advice about telling dwp ive got a new condition are should I leave it to my review any help would be ive got an extention untill 2030 thank you
DWP offered lower rate of PIp before date of hearing & my son Accepted as he suffers from Bipolar 2 & was seriously stressed. The letter has arrived but the payments haven’t been backdated to the original date of claim of December but to March, with them saying it’s not payable until June as there’s a qualifying time of 3 months. They’ve also given 11 points on both daily living & mobility so the he’s only 1 point away from enhanced. How do we question this as they say the appeal has now lapsed by accepting the offer but they’ve not backdated it correctly. Do we just have to accept their underhand tactics? Thank you
