Hey. I’m a 32y/o with THE SAME problem. My crackling and popping were there before the balloon dilation though. My ear felt clogged one day and wouldn’t pop. Eventually they would pop but I was left with the crackling and suction sensation . I saw the worlds best doctor in Boston Dr. Dennis Poe and he saw that my tensor veli palatini muscle is stuck in a chronic state of tension and said Physical therapy for tmd would help resolve my symptoms. I start PT next week. I also never met someone with my symptoms.

New here hi all , I had a very successful cataract surgery on both eyes about four years ago and noticed that this Spring my eyes were very sensitive to sunlight . Then one day I was struggling with distance vision I could not pass the number plate test and booked an eye test which was very disappointing. Both eyes required YAG laser treatment because of cells behind my lenses. As the waiting time was four months I decided to go private as the car is necessary for your hospital appointments it was expensive but after the treatment my vision was back to post cataract surgery. Why does the back button not work on this page!!!

Thanks for your reply. It actually got worse since my post and i had to call an ambulance - they were very nice about it. I have agreed with GP to raise my dose to 20mg as she says i’ve come so far on it, it makes sense to give it a go before switching to something else. I know it’s a bit more old school drugwise but it worked for me before so i think that makes me more keen. Fingers crossed for improvement. Glad you found something that worked for you x

Please keep engaged with healthcare professionals! Speak to local MIND and other charities, they can sometimes be more sympathetic than GPs! Certainly it’s well worth investigating other medications; fluoxetine is quite ‘old’ now in terms of such things and I don’t think it’s as efficacious as newer drugs. Personally I moved on from it years ago, and have settled on Vortioxetine (20mg) and Quetiapine (50-100mg). You’re not alone, don’t worry

Can anyone recommend a skin cream or range to disguise the red/purplish nose I have, because nothing I have tried works? Can we get NHS skin/dermatological care? If so, how? Private clinics are way beyond my means. I am desperate as I hardly socialise now due to looking so ugly

Hallo zusammen, ich nehme bereits seit 2 Jahren 7,5 mg Mirtazapin aufgrund einer angststörung (GAS) und war auch stabil, vor 2 Monaten brach alles schließlich ein und ich bin bei Mirtazapin hoch auf 15 mg gegangen. Vergeblich. Gestern war ich beim Arzt und er meinte ich soll escitalopram einschleichen als Tropfen. Ich hab allerdings tierische Angst vor der der erstverschlimmerung und vor allem vor dem serotonin Syndrom. Mein Arzt meinte es wäre sicher, aber bei einer angststörung ist das natürlich schwer zu verstehen. Kennt ihr diese Kombi und wie war eure Erfahrung damit ? Hat es euch bei GAS geholfen ?

Wife and I have been married for 15 years. We have two kids, 12 and 10. I had a vasectomy over two years ago. I just found a referral letter while cleaning up our home office and filing paperwork. The letter is dated a year ago, and has PREGNANCY CONFIRMED listed under PROBLEM LIST CURRENT My wife has never mentioned being pregnant. She got angry when I asked her about it. She said she doesn’t know why it says “pregnant” on it and it’s probably a mistake. She won’t talk to me any more about it. Can someone explain the terminology and diagnoses listed on this specialist referral, and whether items under medical history normally mean they were current at the time the referral was written?
