I bought an electric bike from Electric Bike Company Los Angeles | eBike | e-RYDE LA in 2020 and they have gone bankrupt and closed their doors. It is Electric Bike Company Model C. My bike sat for two years not charged and I cannot get the battery to take a charge. I am looking for a replacement battery that fits in the rack of the bike. Thank you!

Absolutely aware there have been other threads on here with the exact same (more or less) build, including businesses like Cyclone, but I thought I'd make a thread for my specific build to make sure it's alright I thought to ask the wizards with about...15ish years of experience with Dumbasses Who Are About To Kill Themselves, so they'd recognize if I was one. 24v JGB37-545 with about 35 kg.cm at 60-80 RPM, or something similarish, either on a 26T or 44T sprocket and connected... Heads up! About 40 minutes from the time you read this, we'll be moving to a new hosting service. The process should take 15-30 minutes, but for some people can take longer because their ISP is slow to update DNS records.
Hi all, old member and have no posted for maybe 10 years when i was messing with ebikes.. I now have a doohan 3 wheel itank moped. I bought it a week ago. I believe it has a sine wave controller that is acting up i believe . Is there a controller out there that i could purchase for the bosch 1800 motor.. I just want to add new throttle control and controller. Excuse my ignorance i believe the motor to be brush less . I never messed with brush less setups at all other than buying ebike... Read more
Hi everyone, I’m currently working on an engineering internship project called "PapayaKart". The goal is to build a motorized assist system for a heavy-duty manual office/warehouse cart (carrying up to 120 kg / 265 lbs) to reduce operator fatigue. The core requirement is that the cart must still function perfectly as a manual push-cart if the battery dies, meaning zero drag when pushing forward. The Planned Build & Materials: We are aiming for a simple, robust, and low-cost... Read more
hello people, i'm an owner of a 350w BBS01B, which i have connected to a 52v(14s) battery pack(fooling the 36v lock with a tvs diode as described here ), with the controller set to 20a current(max that's allowed on the bbs01 controller) it's been working fine for the last couple hundred kms, and regarding the heat, after pushing the motor for quite a bit i could still put my hand on the stator casing(measured aroung 50c with an IR thermometer) but im eager to get moar power. the... Suppose it is my time in life. Young kids probably don't even know who Jack Bruce is but anybody who knows a deeper history about rock and roll music knows how important Cream and Jack Bruce were. Hello makers I have been developing my own GPS tracker for last year. I have had some plans with this board, but can not finish it. So decided to put it out for hobbyist and LoRa fans. It is great dev board for discovering IoT world and to be quick on the right track (working codes and decoders). Compatible with Arduino and also other platforms - going over old good CP2102. Examples and working code for GPS tracker and DHT20 temperature and humid sensor over LoRa WAN Helium network... Read more
I had BZ-5 sensor on the chain side crank - the rotating disk decided to break apart. When researching replacements I saw the KT-V12L and thought it's design was far superior. I changed my PAS magnet setting to 12 but no dice. Tried pedaling backwards, no assist. I'm wondering if all my bits and pieces are compatible. I'll attach pics. Thanks for any help! Something relatively simple. Square/rectangle tubing frame. Salvaged steering tube and triple tree, etc. a square or rectangle geometry to accommodate easier battery placement. Hub motor for ease and more battery space. I would like something with a few hundred mile range if possible. Not a crazy fast racer but still able to comfortably be able to keep up with traffic and enough power to climb hills with regular traffic speeds. I expect that most driving will be around 35-45 mph with only a... Read more
BESST Pro 2.1.2 won’t communicate with BBSHD CAN (CR R309.C) / UC 3.0.3 – looking for ideas Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone with experience of the newer CANbus BBSHD and BESST can help. This photo turned up on our UK forum today. This motor is now being fitted to ready-made electric bikes that cost from about £700. It's rated at 250w and anecdotally stronger than a Bosch mid-drive. Looking at the photo, it might be possible to fit it to any bike. It's made by a Chinese company called TCM. I searched, but couldn't find anything about it. Can anybody add to this?
