Vinegar Syndrome Archive have announced a 4K release for Faces of Death IV (1990), following their previous releases for the first 3 films. https://vinegarsyndrome.com/products...44896818266154 Quote: FACES OF DEATH IV is part of our Vinegar Syndrome Archive collection, celebrating forgotten cinematic oddities from the video store era. This collection was inspired by our own brick & mortar video stores, with locations in Bridgeport, CT, Denver, CO, Toronto, ON, and Pittsburgh, PA. Unique to this line, each numbered limited edition release will come fitted in a specially designed, bottom loading VHS inspired slipcase, while also including a double-sided poster. These releases will ONLY be available on our website and at participating indie retailers. Absolutely no major retailers will be stocking them. This spot gloss slipcase edition is strictly limited to 4,000 units. This release will be followed by a standard edition in the future. Description Driven to insanity as a result of his lifelong preoccupation with the study of death, Faces of Death's chief resident specialist Dr. Francis B. Gröss is now no more. However, his esteemed and quite enthusiastic colleague, Dr. Louis Flellis, himself fascinated with what became Gröss' life (and death) work, has dutifully maintained the same intellectual discipline. Here, Flellis gleefully presents another, even more outrageous series of shocking and tragic case studies (not sparing his own professional opinions on these subjects) in hi

Clarissa - Official Trailer - In Select Theaters December - YouTube Quote: Shot on 35mm film in Nigeria, the film is a loose adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway. The story follows Clarissa, a high-society woman in the throes of preparing to host a party at her home in Lagos, where she will unexpectedly encounter once-intimate friends from her youth. The official synopsis continues: “As the group reflects on their shared past over the course of a single night, memories of their intricate relationships, passionate love, hidden desires, and lost aspirations give rise to a bittersweet reckoning.” https://deadline.com/2026/10/clariss...on-1237144197/
Le Labo de Jay , who has been creating excellent UHD HDR analysis videos for the past several years, has recently launched a kickstarter for an ambitious project: HOME VIDEO SAGA Described as a "more than a 2-hour docu-fiction" that tells the story of "50 years of home cinema, with Star Wars as the common thread." A trailer for the project can be viewed here: here . I'm sure this would be of interest to many users here, and anyone who isn't already familiar with his analysis videos are highly encouraged to check them out either via download from his official site or on youtube .
Regional coupons also stack if you happen to have one. I had a 20 percent off coupon on Parenthood and a 10 percent coupon on Eraser. So my order with The Man Who Knew Too Much came to about $26.50 (plus $2.50 in slow shipping credit). Edit: I also had a 30 percent off coupon for Sleepers for my second order. (I'm in the Mid-Atlantic region). https://www.amazon.com/promotion/psp/A31R8EEJLV7635

So apparently there are quite a few "releases" in the database that were never actually released and are just there because of wishful thinking (often with a fanmade or bootleg cover image) or they might have been announced once but then never actually released/got canceled. Since there is no function to report something like this, maybe we could collect those db entries here and someone with the rights could take a look at them and delete them? A button on the entry edit page to mark entries for review for deletion would also be an option. For starters these three do not exist (and most likely never will): https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Screa...lu-ray/185401/ https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Screa...lu-ray/185325/ https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/Scream-Q...on-DVD/154205/

Halloween Horror Month 2026 "For it’s turn of the year and All Souls’ night, When the dead can hear and the dead have sight." As the clock passes midnight, starting a new day, it's also the start of October and time for another Halloween Horror Month, attempting to watch 31 films in 31 days. The first time I did the challenge was in 2012 and have done it every year since. So this will be my 15th year , which is funny to say, but I still enjoy it each time. My previous 14 years completed film lists can be found below. While my personal goal is always 1 film per day, don't feel like you have to either hit that 31 total, or be limited to only that amount. It's just a fun excuse to watch some Horror/Supernatural theme films in the run up to Halloween. My only advice would be to keep it varied, mix in horror comedies, dramas etc. in with more intense Horror. What qualifies is up to you. I'm happily now in a position where I have enough films in the collection, I can go many years between rewatching films. But generally I just try and not watch films 2 years in a row. As we are on a blu-ray forum, you are likely going to watch a decent amount via disc. But don't feel limited to only that if there's something on Netflix etc. Here are some Horror/Supernatural titles currently available on BBC Player (there may be more films added as additional films are shown throughout the month): [Show spoiler] Quote: Blood Rites (2022, short) Boys from County Hell Cat People The Curse of the Cat P
