Not 15 years like other thread, but only 3 years. I purchased a used 2015 in 2023. I can't recall how many miles, but it was a little overdue for 1st valve job. I nearly purchased a different one but the one I got had a lot of accessories including canyon cages, which I wanted and were no longer available. At end of the season I started working on putting on black widow headers, delkevic exhaust and Steve's flash. Then started valve job. Got all plastic off, then life got in the way... Read more

I am nearly ready to remove head cover. I still have right engine mount in place. I have radiator unbolted and supported forward. The black plastic piece behind radiator also tilted forward. I don't know if there is enough room to get the wishbone shaped engine mount out without removing the right canyon cage. And if need to take it off, is there any special precautions when taking out the long bolt in back?

Continuing a search for local mechanic/someone who could do the Rostra install (perhaps waiting in line for John in Nashua NH)....(any tips for other installers in New England welcome) For a good mechanic, but who's never done the install--but who I've sent a Murph article on installation and some videos--can anyone guesstimate (i know lots of variables, but this is a very skilled shop) as to how many hours it may take? Bought the Reckless 80 in 2018. Included Stinger bag gives up the ghost in 2026 when used to secure another load with its d-rings. Told the d-rings were not intended for that purpose but for use with included shoulder straps. Unit replaced at no cost anyway, eight years later. Way to go, Mosko!!

Anyone know if there is a pattern eg mileage, the final drive seals give up holding the oil in? I have a 2008 C14 that started leaking at 23,500 miles. Currently in the process of trying to find the appropriate size Blind Bearing puller to get the needle bearing out to remove the small inner seal. Plan on replacing small seal, large seal, needle bearing and large o-ring that sits on the ring gear assembly. Trying to find the large O-ring has been unsuccessful thus far as everywhere I have... I took the last ride to Artist Point at Mt. Baker yesterday. There's a weather system heading in on Tuesday, and there's already been a light snowfall up there. Once they get a heavy snowfall, Artist Point is closed till they reopen it in May, June or July. This is a "bucket list" ride in my opinion. I have a rather large collection of C10 pics from all over the world. Over 200. I started a C14 collection but it only has about 40 pics in it so I recently opened a post like this in the C14 section also. These are what I'm talking about> What are they controling? Looked in manual and can't find a difinet answer. I have a 2017 C14 without these and wonder if a set from a 2008 will work or not? Anyone deal with this issue before? Would love to hear any info on this problem. Thanks
