Hello all. I came into possession of an S40 a few months back. I have ridden it for less than 10 parking lot sessions and have come to the conclusion it wasn’t for me. My rides will never be long enough to enjoy the seating position advantages. I’m not positive of the year of the bike. It does have paneers and the paneer rack. It has hydraulic disc brakes. It comes with new handlebar tape as it is currently not taped, previous owner was in the middle of re-wrapping them when they passed... Read more

I had a flat on the front of my V20c and I couldn't get the front wheel back in is there a trick to get it back together on the side of the road
Morning folks. Bought this as a complete bike a while back and am just starting a fresh rebuild now. The fork suspension is holding pressure, and the rubber elastomer on the rear "suspension" seems to be in good shape. What version of Silvio do you think this is? View attachment IMG_3050.JPG
Has anyone else experienced this with the S40 derailleur hanger - I am pulling out of my driveway and the hanger snapped and the derailleur went up and shredded the front cage - gouged the stay - bent the front derailleur and broke the front derailleur post. It may have also damaged a couple of spokes on my carbon rim. I have less than 200 miles on this frame set and I am obviously “not a happy Cruzbike” The drivetrain is a SRAM Red Etap - 1st gen - and I need to consider going to a 1X... Read more
I didn't get the hang of riding it. It's been sitting in my garage. Very clean, very good condition. Stand and accessories included.

Finished my second century ride on my Q45. I’m doing weight training and trying to trim myself down, so I am not focused at all on trimming weight or streamlining aerodynamics or friction. The derailleur pulley is bumping into the largest cog. My Q45 has the microshift XLE derailleur and the b-screw is screwed all the way in. Should I get a longer b-screw to push it further out so it doesn't bump into the biggest cog (lowest gear)? It will get into that gear once in a while, both most of the time the chain won't jump to the biggest cog of the cassette.

Sharing this here in case it's of interest. For me, any amount of weight on the proprietary Q45 rack generated annoying and potentially unsafe swaying and rebound at most speeds, and especially down inclines and around curves. With some time, effort, and not much expense -- just like my water bottle cage fix I could (or did ?) post -- I have fixed this. Both issues were avoidable with better design.
