Hello, According to the FAQs there is an "SBIG USB to FW" driver software for using the Dual Filter wheel setup with TSX ( https://forum.diffractionlimited.com/threads/using-dual-sbig-afw-filter-wheels-with-theskyx.9022/ ). When I visit the products page ( https://diffractionlimited.com/product/usb-fw/ ) I do not see a downloads section for software. Where can I locate this software and download it? Hello! I have my ST-402 set up at Starfront Observatories. They just informed me that all four the fan grommets have failed, and the fan is hanging from the camera by the connection wires. They'll try to superglue it back on for an immediate fix, but it appears the best solution will be to replace the rubber grommets. Sorry about these questions, but I do not have the camera in my possession to check out the fan connection. Could you tell me what size rubber grommets are needed for... Read more

Doug/Colin, I have been using my STXL-11002M and self-guiding filter wheel with a CDK-17 and Hedrick focuser successfully for several years. I decided to upgrade to the IRF90 rotating focuser and have run into the dreaded fan vibration issue. If I disable the fan in Maxim camera setup, the stars on 4sec exposures are round. If I enable the fan, the stars become elongated and sometimes display as dumbells. After some research here, I found info about swapping the original fan with a Noctua... Read more

I am using TheSky64 camera controller with and AC455. I have recently successfully updated to Firmware ver. 41. In TheSky64, when setting up the camera I choose DL imaging for the camera, and then go to settings. In settings I have the ability to choose high gain or low gain. The problem is that if I choose either high gain or low gain, the camera behaves the same, and is in high gain mode. This behavior is unchanged from all firmware and DLAPI versions. I have updated to firmware version 41, and when rebooting I am now recieving the following message: "The system Bios has detected unsuccessful post attempt(s). Possible causes include recent changes to BIOS performance options or recent hardware changes. Press 'Y' to enter BIOS Setup or press 'N' to cancel and attempt to boot with previous settings." I have not changed the Bios. I choose N and reboot, and everything seems to work fine. Have you seen this behaviour?

Hi , I have a STC7 serial number STC7M-21010703. I bought it about a month ago, NOS, filters are still sealed in the box. Sat on my shelf since I got it and last week started using it inside to check how it works. Plan is to use it in NINA. Bought a Mini PC and installed all the software needed.
