Yeah Scott, you will need to procure a twin .30 mount. Of course you can always close the cocpit and have the weapons stowed…just saying…

Would be a little awkward explaining in the ER
I do not have a stash. I never did. I have bits and pieces from old completed builds. Should I feel bad or good about that? I’m so conflicted.
@RealG , My first job in the USAF was computer maintenance on the E-3A/B!
Absolutely! And just to reiterate this for everyone, this Group Build is not limited to aircraft. Unarmed military vehicles are welcome too. I mentioned that in my most recent post, but it was probably easy to miss with all the aircraft examples we’ve been throwing around. So no need to find something else. Bring on the Citroën! That’s exactly the kind of unusual subject I’d love to see in this Group Build.
Thanks for all the well wishing. I’m literally planning how I’m going to get back into this hobby while keeping my imaginative fires stoked. I also plan to videologue much of my efforts for possible later YT channel efforts. The “Plan” is to combine my photography/video education with my love of the hobby in general, my extreme fascination with my own D&D game world creation AND my explorations into 3D printing, terrain building and diorama scenery. I have a trio of metal D&D approved Dragons that I painted around 1997 or so. I did NOT use my utmost skill or attention to these dragons. They were intended as ‘totem’ figurines for my wife, my daughter and myself for metaphysical reasons. A Red Dragon, A Blue Dragon and a White Dragon. I intend to photograph these in their current state (which I consider to be mediocre overall), then strip the paint off them, clean up any issues with their forms (burrs, dents, nicks, etc.) and then spend some time learning how to use my airbrushes and new paints during the process of turning them into something I am proud of instead of sort of embarrassed by. I definitely did not put my best efforts into these things – I truly just sort of slap dashed the paint on them to get them done toute suite. I also plan to build another small diorama that I am going to title: “Uncovering the Truth; One Hubcap At A Time,” which will be a small mise-en-scene of three boys setting up a photograph of a ‘flying saucer’ while a ‘real’ UFO (oops, sorry, UAP) is
What Sam said. ORAMASK 810 as a masking medium. The reason I use Tamiya tape sometimes is that it follows complicated curved surfaces better.
I built mine a while ago, having a hard time figuring out the reins. My friend in Belgium is painting the figures for me. Along with Civil war figures. Tim ask me to post pictures of it.
Good job! It’s definitely a big model and a lot of work.
That is bloody brilliant!
Looks great! Have you been following @Tim_Kidwell build? AMT/Ertl 1/20 scale Clydesdale Budweiser 8-horse hitch (Yeah, that one) - Modeling Subjects / Figures and Misc. - Finescale Modeler Forum
Incredible attention to detail! What’s left?
