All my Airteq music in one place. I'm collecting Airteq's music here so it's easier to find. Individual songs often drown in the number of uploads. Trying to upgrade from 6 year old Roland FP-30x

I have used a Roland FP-30x for 6 years with Pianoteq, and I have always been pleased with the default velocity curve -- it's been a joy to play. But it's time to upgrade my keyboard as its beginning to show its age. So, of course, I ordered the new FP-40 assuming it would be a nice upgrade with the same key action but the benefit of up firing speakers if I should ever use the onboard speakers (I don't as I pump Pianoteq thru a Focusrite 4i4 to Adam Audio T7V studio monitors). Unfortunately, they have messed with the super light, light, medium, hard and very hard key touch sensitivity so that the lows and high registers reach higher volumes easier and that you have to pound the mids to get higher volumes. Since this is not a linear curve, messing with Pianoteq velocity curves will not solve the problem as it applies the curve to all keys. Dropping the on-board touch sensitivity to light was the closest I could get to replicate the FP-30x but it's still unacceptable. Needless to say, the keyboard was returned. Now I have obtained Nuvola GX from Costco which looks pretty much like the FP-30x and I thought was just a rebranded FP-30x. I like that the black keys are less slip resistant, but alas, it too suffers the same fate as the new FP-40 when it comes to using it as a MIDI controller for Pianoteq. Do I really have to buy another FP-30x to get a linear velocity curve? I considered the Studiologic MKII but there are reports of it freezing when fussing with the knobs and buttons

New Bach Video - Prelude n 3 in C-Sharp Major BWV 872 WTC 2

Dear Friends, The Prelude No. 3 in C-sharp major (BWV 872) from Book II of Johann Sebastian Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier is a piece of extraordinary elegance, luminosity, and counterpoint mastery. Characterized by a bright, pastoral tone, the prelude opens with a transparent, quasi-improvisatory texture built on gentle arpeggiated chords that flow into a continuous stream of sixteenth notes. What makes BWV 872 truly remarkable is its bipartite structure: after the opening toccata-like section, Bach transitions into a distinct, dance-like fhetta or fugal section in 3/8 time. In this closing section, Bach introduces a lively, brief subject that undergoes concise yet ingenious imitative counterpoint. The texture remains light and buoyant, featuring nimble passage-work, delicate voice-leading, and expressive suspensions. Rather than expanding into a dense, heavyweight fugue, Bach keeps this fugal coda fleeting and exuberant, bringing the prelude to a radiant and triumphant close in its home key. Turn on the audio and let me know what you think! Greetings from Italy Carmelo This video was played with these settings: Played on Yamaha P125 piano stage, Tamara House. Wishlist Organteq 3 - Christmas is coming soon - 3D Sound

Dear Santa Claus. I wish for an option to solo the reverb and route it to 4 speakers and Sub (4.1 Quadrophonic). In my current setup I use the 8 Channel template to split 4 stereo tracks in Ableton (3+) I am using Envelop 4 Live to feed an 4.1 quad speaker layout and position the individual divisions in the 3d room. This works fantastic ! The problem is that the reverb is shifted along with the divisions in the room (because this is fixed in organteq) rather to be placed as a send effect for all divisions to simulate one big room, cathedral… I understand that probably a majority use Organteq in a stereo layout.

NOTICE: Airteq and Recordings

NOTICE: Airteq and Recordings I now noticed that "Recordings Pianoteq Organteq" changed to : "Recordings featuring Modartt's software" "A place for Pianoteq, Organteq or Airteq users to share their own recordings". This Airteq forum is for sharing knowledge and creations (not recordings). Creation: meaning for example unique things that have been made, produced, or brought into existence. From now on I will upload my Airteq music on the other side, "Recordings featuring Modartt's software" "A place for Pianoteq, Organteq or Airteq users to share their own recordings". I hope we meet on the other side sometimes. My sincere thanks to all who listened and commented. Best wishes, Stig

The Sweetest Sounds (Pianoteq)

here's an unusual tune: both the words and music were written by Richard Rodgers, of Rodgers & Hart, Rodgers & Hammerstein ... fame. i had never heard this before, just came across it in the book so gave it a try. later i found that Ella did a great version of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cH3hMpyyICI
