I'm running 1.3.8 and can't find where to update the firmware in a Zwave device, does this feature exist yet?

@Javi my brother attempted to update his EISY to get the new UI for his Mac using the AC but the update failed. Seems it never came back after the prompted reboot. He submitted a ticket but only had a cursory response yesterday. He's asking me if there's possibly a problem with the update that is being looked into? Or too busy with other tickets? I told him I have no clue but I'd post on the forum to see if I can get more info. He understands this is a huge update. Thanks

I'm not a new user, but I might as well be. I'm having rookie trouble. For a while now I have been trying to link Zigbee open/close sensors to my Eisy, but each brand I try has different issues, so I though I'd try a sure thing- the Insteon 2843 open/close sensor instead. When I try to link it, auto-detect seems to think the device is a 2421 TriggerLinc V4.0. All I get is a heartbeat- no status info. I tried removing that device from the system and re-linking it, but instead of allowing the system to auto-detect, I selected the 2843-222 from the drop down menu. Once I put the device in linking mode and started the linking process, it changed back to "2421 TriggerLinc". How can I resolve this? Thanks for any suggestions! -Rick

I tried to drag and drop a device on to a scene but the scene was below my available screen. I couldn't seen to drag it down to make the page scroll down to the scene. I could drop it on scenes visible on the page so I believe I'm doing it right. I tried having two instances of Safari open to drag to another window but that didn't work. How would I accomplish this? I tried to open the admin console from my Mac and it had disappeared from my menu. I have continued to try using online instructions. Have I failed to pay some fee? If so, to whm and how?

I am lost on upgrading my eisy. I show Firmware and UI IoX 5.8.4 in my about admin console. I've upgraded packages, backed up IoX and Z-Wave. I've been through the "Current Release Announcements" and "Previous Releases" and still don't know where to begin. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

I have an issue that has been plaguing me for months and I have run out of ideas on how to approach this to try and solve the problem. I have a modest size condo single floor for the most part, about 1200 square feet, I have about 35 switches/dimmers, and probably 12 or so outlet plugins, dimmer outlets, a few shelly products and some others, homeseer hsm plugin etc. I also have about 8 battery motions, and several battery door sensors, and probably about 10 battery water sensors and 2 older kwikset locks. I started with an Eisy and am now on an eisy r2. A few of the switches are quite old and I have replaced the majority of them to newer models so I'm not inclined to think that is the issue. So what happens is at times things will become very delayed, specifically with the motion devices. You walk into the room which has a motion switch and it may take 10 seconds to come on sometimes even longer, other times it is so fast (which is what I want). I can see the motion pick me up but the program to turn on the light doesn't always trigger right away. I can walk through multiple rooms and they can all exhibit the same behavior, then all of the sudden its like the bottleneck is gone and they all turn on. I also have some zooz scene dimmers and even those buttons do not always activate immediately, other times it's perfect, so I am down to only 2 possible ideas. I have a signal/interference issue, or something behind the scenes in the eisy is taking up processing time, be it the O

I tried Show PLM Links Table on eisy-ui (beta 1.3.11_1), but all I see is this ... should it be displaying actual data or are my links really hosed?

How does one enable a disabled program in eisy-ui Clicking on the disable icon did nothing, I don't see any other options

Is there a way have persistent storage for variables across IoX reboots or upgrades? I have some items that I track long term that get lost whenever IoX is upgraded or rebooted. For example I count each time the sump pump is turned on as way to gauge its life span. I also track power on hours on my HRV (Ventilator) as way to judge it's overall life as well as to know when I need to do maintenance on the ventilator. I can think of other possible uses of persistent storage as well. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this? Thanks Mike

On the eisy-ui I'm trying to add a device to a scene that's far down the page. I see I can drag and drop the device on to a scene that's currently on the page I'm using and that that works as it should (I'm assuming) But I cant seem to drag it down the page to a scene lower than the bottom of the screen. I've tried having two instances of the eisy-ui open but that didn't work either. I'm guessing I'm going about it wrong.
