I am looking at options for family holidays next year and considering some of the Belek resorts. Just looking for opinions from anyone who has been there as to what hotels are best in the area and which ones to potentially avoid I will be going with my wife and two daughters aged 4 and 8 so ideally looking for somewhere with evening entertainment and looking at most hotels they have theme parks and water parks either connected or nearby so I think we will be fine for stuff to do during the... Quick question for those using IG Can anyone remember where it is to turn off the ability to submit GP scores in ( via IG ) on specific tees

I often have something I want to post which only requires 1 or 2 responses, seems a waste posting a new thread each time so I thought I’d start this one off! So my quick question today is, I’m playing with someone tomorrow who wants to put his first scorecard in. How many shots over par on 1 hole is it where he can just pick up and move onto the next hole? I have +3 in my head.

Been told by a club official that as of next season our member's guest pass price will be increased to £20 a head. Causing a bit of a stir within the membership. Can understand why people feel mistreated as subs having taken quite a hike too over the last couple of years. By way of background, only a few years ago, pre-Covid, we had members complimentary guest passes which was then scrapped, price set a £5 per head, then hiked up year on year. Out of interest what's the policy at your club?

I’ve been wondering how golfers usually tell if their clubs are the wrong length. Apart from getting fitted professionally, are there any obvious signs during the swing or at address that your clubs may be too long or too short? For example, does anyone notice changes in posture, ball striking, or consistency when using clubs that aren't the right length? Interested to hear what signs other golfers have noticed.

Played a few holes on my own tonight, the course was empty and so I was playing a couple of balls, trying different things out, enjoying what will probably be one of the last warm nights of golf until next year! Bloody love golf. Anyway, I got to my ball on the 8th fairway, 110 to the flag, usually a gap wedge but the wind was quite strong straight into, so I need to keep it down. This is my kinda shot. Took out my 9 iron, usually a 130-135 club, back foot, gripped down a bit, 3/4 swing... Read more

To bin the new shiny golf balls and dig, the grade A/used balls out. sick of just missing the fairway and landing under a leaf unable to find the ball

After the last couple of rounds I've had a pain in the base of my right heel, eases off over a couple of days but is back immediately after the next round . Anyone had this and know what causes it or has a remedy. Not overly confident a GP visit will be of much use. Ta.

Unlimited funds, which 3 cars would you put in your garage. For me; Aston Martin DB9, black with cream leather interior. My runabout. BMW 7 series. The family runabout. Triumph Stag with a Rover 3.5 engine in. That bit of nostalgia.

I've always been skeptical about the suggestion that smart devices might be listening and feeding back to the likes of Google, Meta, etc. But I was chatting to friends who mentioned they put air tags in their luggage. A few hours later I get an email from a company I've never heard of offering air tags and android equivalents. I have no Alexa/echo/etc type devices. The only thing that could have been listening is my android phone. This is just too spooky to be a coincidence. Am I being... Read more

Ok, I'm into this now. I even heard other people in my office struggling with it, but I did alright today. Wordle 219 3/6 ???? ????? How did you all do? https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle/

So last week after a season of massive inconsistency with my driving I decided to grip down my driver a good inch or more (think Tommy Fleetwood grip position) instead of my usual comfortable hand position of near the butt of the grip. Proceeded to hit every fairway, added at least 30+ yards to my average distance as every one of them was plum out of the sweetspot of the driver. For 15 holes I could swing my normal swing, feel solid at impact and have complete control of the face... Read more
