[Support] GameKeepr - game server portal for your friends

GameKeepr is a self-hosted portal for the game servers on your Unraid box. The problem it solves: your friends' Valheim/Zomboid/whatever server needs a restart after a game update, and you're not home. With GameKeepr they sign in, see which servers are up and who's playing, and press Restart themselves — without touching Unraid, SSH, or anything else on your machine. I built it for my own friend group and it's been running our servers for a while now. Open source (MIT), runs as a single container. WHAT IT DOES Restarts that tell the truth: verified in two stages — container came back, then the game itself answered a query. Per-game startup times, a cooldown that stops restart-hammering, and an activity feed everyone can read. Install servers from the portal: from Community Applications templates (trusted publishers only, reviewed before deploy), or any of ~580 dedicated servers on Steam — GameKeepr composes the container itself on Valve's official steamcmd image. Schedules: nightly restart that first asks the game if anyone is online, never turns a deliberately stopped server back on. World backups (the saves, not the reinstallable gigabytes), with restore-only-while-stopped and a safety copy before every restore. Mods: repository installs (ficsit.app, Modrinth, Thunderstore) with hash verification and archive-safety checks, optional VirusTotal/ClamAV scanning, and Steam Workshop support for Zomboid/ARK. Live logs with a console input that types at the game (save-all, say, ki

Fix Common Problems and pool warning

Hello, I'm getting error that some of my share have file on multiple pools, but it is how my share is configured. Exemple: These are both pool, but the cache is SSD and Downloads is HDD. I don't think this should trigger a warning

Corrupt Boot Flash Drive

I created a new boot flash, copied over my config files but the system hangs at rc.s found dev/sdy1 checking /dev/sdy1. I created a new boot flash and did not copy the config and the system boots fine Now I need to restore the disk, share, docker configs etc trying to setup the array disks I cannot find from the backup I have what disk is mapped to what disk number. I've looked in disk.cfg but there is not a disk name or serial number diskIdSlot.0="-" diskSpindownDelay.0="-1" diskSpinupGroup.0="" diskIdSlot.1="-" diskSpindownDelay.1="-1" diskSpinupGroup.1="" diskFsType.1="xfs" diskFsProfile.1="" diskFsWidth.1="1" diskFsGroups.1="1" diskAutotrim.1="off" diskCompression.1="off" diskComment.1="" diskWarning.1="" diskCritical.1="" diskExport.1="-" diskCaseSensitive.1="auto" diskSecurity.1="public" diskReadList.1="" diskWriteList.1="" diskVolsizelimit.1="" diskExportNFS.1="-" diskExportNFSFsid.1="0" diskSecurityNFS.1="public" diskHostListNFS.1="

New beginner youtuber trying to help around by showing what Unraid can do

I have been an active unraid user since 2020 I think. I have been going through everything you can possibly imagine: loosing appdata, USB sticks that failed, docker containers or plugins that were taking my CPU to 100% and so on. I still like this operating system and this year I decided to start posting on youtube. If you want to show some appreciation and support with a like and subscribe would be great for my minuscule channel : https://www.youtube.com/@Tech-and-Fire Happy to take gentle and constructive criticism too. Just be aware that I am not an expert and I am pretending to be one. I am just a guy who likes to tinker with stuff and is doing this on top of a full time job (mostly excel and power points )

Read errors started during parity check

Monthly parity check stated as scheduled this morning. 12:20 pm email notification came as expected and result was pass. 4 minutes later received email notification that disk 6 has 442 read errors. Logged in remotely as I'm at work and see the they are now 44,158 and climbing. Paused parity check and created this post for advice. tower-diagnostics-20260930-1258.zip

[Support] Unable to get Docker to start after replacing cache drives/pool

My apologies in advance for such a lengthy post, but I feel like it's important to give as much context and data to start with as opposed to wasting anyone's time with back and forth questions about my situation. I had a btrfs cache pool set up on my system with two 1.6 TB SSD drives. Both were showing errors, although neither had failed yet. I had new(er) 1.6 TB SSD drives of the same type and manufacturer here to replace them. I went to replace them one at a time, but when I tried to start the array after replacing the first drive, it wouldn't start and gave me an error about the new drive not having enough space. I tried to do some troubleshooting for a while, but ended up just deleting the cache pool and created a new one with the two new drives. I did work to copy and migrate all the data on the old cache pool to my array and elsewhere so that I wouldn't lose anything in the process. I also changed shares around to have the array be the primary with the cache as backup. I believe that I now have everything back to the way that it was when I started and my array properly starts with the new cache pool. However, the docker service has refused to start. I get the "Docker Service failed to start Couldn't create socket: [111] Connection refused" error on the Docker page. I've put the appdata folder back into place. I've tried it both with the old docker.img file as well as deleting it and having it try to create a new one, but without success. I've tried starting it via comma

Plex Docker container causing RAM usage to climb to 99%

I've had the binhex-plexpass container running on my machine for years. Recently, I've noticed that my RAM usage (32GB) percentage has been steadily increasing. After bootup, the usage sits around 8%, most of that being system usage. Once start the Plex docker, the usage slowly increases over several days, until it's maxed out. If I restart the container, the usage immediately drops back to 8% and then slowly build up again. It's like the container is grabbing RAM when needed, but not releasing it. Any insight here would be helpful. Please let me know what info is needed. Thanks.

High system memory usage

I recently downgraded my server to save power and make a little money so I went from 256GB of ram to 96GB. I noticed that the system is always using 35+GB of memory even on boot. I thought it wasn't an issue but when I transcode to ram, it never frees up any of that system space and my transcode will fail. I've tried everything I can think of to find out what is using the system ram but have not been able to do so. I don't have Unraid Connect installed, but I still see lots of instances of /usr/local/unraid-api/dist/main.js for unknown reasons... harley-diagnostics-20260930-0646.zip
