I am rewiring my aft spreader lights. I would like to change them to white/blue. As everyone knows the spreader lights switch is on the dome switch underneath the top electronics box along with the helm station light. One question is can the rubber push button light that turns on the spreader lights be used to work with a white/blue light? If I remember correctly you push it in sequence to change colors and then turn off. I’m thinking I should maybe just rewire the new spreader lights light... Read more

Hello everyone! I'm looking to replace some of the deck plates on my 1994 Adventure. Picture is attached. If possible, I'd like an exact match so I don't have to drill all new holes! Thanks for any information.
Hi - I have a 2004 Grady White Marlin 30, the bang cap is eroded and starting to see some expansion on the top of the transom under the bang cap. Does anyone have any recommendations on a local trusted fiber glass repair show to evaluate and potentially rebuild the transom? I keep the boat in Bourne, MA, it has an upper helm so I'd prefer a shop that I could drive the boat to vs taking the upper helm off and trailering it. What should I expect for redoing the transom $10-$12K? No flex on the... Read more
Hello everyone. My name is Ryan, and I got deeply involved in researching internal outboard corrosion after buying a boat that had suffered a serious corrosion failure. That research eventually led me to develop WaterDog Outboard Savers, so I want to be completely upfront that I own the company. I am not here to spam product links or turn every discussion into a sales pitch. I have spent the last couple of years studying outboard corrosion, cooling systems, thermostats, sacrificial anodes... Hi All: Does anyone have experience replacing fuel tanks on a 2007 360 Express? I am aiming to get the job done by a large, respectable yard who has general knowledge (not specifically on grady boats). They said ~$12-$15K knowing that "they might find other stuff". Grady guys in NC said should not be too difficult because of the "cut-away" in the cockpit -- so the yard won't have to tear apart the deck and can re-calk after removing the rectangular deck portion that hides the tanks. My... Read more
I’m planning to remove the hot water heater from my 265X because I never use it and I’m going to put the batteries for a trolling motor there. My question is should I just cap the water lines or connect them? I’m not sure if fresh water always goes through the heater from port side to get to starboard side. We do use the rigging sink on the starboard side and I know the holding tank is on the port side. Also, I plan to use the AC power that is there too for the charger. Thanks!
The paint on my 1994 232G bracket (twin) is starting to peel in places. The correct fix would probably be to take the bracket off and have it refinished but I don't want to spend much money on this. Planing to upgrade in a year or two. I have one to two salt water trips (4 or 5 days) per year and the rest is freshwater. Just run it? Or any budget ideas available?

To Sailfish 282 Owners: I'm planning for the retirement boat. Thinking about a center console since I mostly fish and like to fly a kite, but Grady's walk-around works fairly with a kite and does keep the Admiral happy. The Sailfish fits the need of being a true walk-around, has overnighting comforts, is reasonably trailerable and is a Grady (Marlin doesn't fit in our storage). My hesitation is that folks on that other, Grady-hating website particularly bash the ride of the 282. (Oddly, the... Read more
