Time For a Change

Maybe it’s because of near full moon? https://imgur.com/a/RUWpBqB Back to cruising

Let's Laugh at my Expense!

I ran out of gas today!! Never happened before, in any vehicle, first time for everything! So what happened? Lately I've been going to Port Perry the native gas station for cheaper fuel. Hop on the bike, and it tells me I have 90k range. Should be more then enough (from daHood to PP). I check this on my way and find out I should have 20 k left. Nope at about 25k range the bike starts sputtering and revving like mad. I pull over. Try starting it, nothing, lots of spark but no go. CAA to... Read more

The "Official" Watch Thread and all Things Horological

So we have hijacked enough other threads maybe it is time for a new one! Watch talk, new acquisitions, wrist shots.... baller or not, it is all horological coolness. No counterfeits please... I will start it off with a Wednesday wrist shot, just back from a complete overhaul and to replace the broken main spring (literally today)--I wear them, no trailer queens here. The iconic Speedmaster Professional, flight qualified by NASA... This one was manufactured in 1985 (38 years old), 861... Read more

Fall colours

Went for lunch at Wilno Tavern today and rode through Algonquin. The colours in the park are pretty much starting their peak. Was brilliantly vibrant! Sorry no pics - was just riding all day

Toronto And Canada Suck For Motorcycle Community

Every month I see a post here about a GTA store or bike shop closing, I've seen so many motorcycle shops close that my fingers and toes are not enough to count them all, it first started with McBride's in Dundas St. W and Old Weston Rd about 20 years ago, then with Kahuna Powesports on Steeles ave W and Weston Rd about 10 years ago. Every year there's literally less bike shops to go to, pretty soon there won't be any left, where are we suppose to fix or service our bikes without waiting a... Read more

So it's that time again....winter pasttimes?

So what's on the books for GTAMers for the winter? Riding is over (for me it was early Nov) and now looking for some new things to do as 3 kids, a house, and work are not enough to take up every waking moment. First off, I started racing on my PS4 as I remembered how much I enjoyed it when I was younger, and still do apparently! I tried out a racing wheel and after much searching scored a good Black Friday deal on my wheel. Stupid fun compared to the controller! (Excuse the mess)... Read more

Hockey bags for lugging/storing moto gear (off bike)

After seeing the ridiculous pricing of actual moto gear bags, I decided to just buy a wheeled hockey bag for lugging my stuff around on trips like the one to the Dragon. I previously borrowed one from my brother and liked having everything together instead of thrown all over the floor of the trailer like I used to, and moving everything in one shot between the house, car, friend's trailer, and motel was a time and energy saver. Canadian Tire has two bags on sale for $60 and $70. The cheaper... Read more

Anyone got a 10mm flare nut wrench I can borrow?

I'm swapping out my rubber hoses for braided, and don't have this tool. Can't seem to find a decent one on Amazon, they're either weak or the sizes are not accurate and Crappy Tire only sells a set. I'm in Mississauga!

I have my wife signed up for no alcohol in October (at least). Anyone care to join us? Sign on, and relate your success (or lack thereof).
