Came across a parameter and am wondering what other people are using as a setting for width? I figure you have a right and a left. A sweep for right and left. What is width? And in my instance what is 0%? i read what it said in the reaper manual. Still?

Eh up everyone - Quick question about the original Line 6 bass POD. I recently bought one cos they're cheap as chips these days. However, the thing seems to need a lot more mic pre than my Line 6 POD for guitar (the red bean-shaped doobrey). I'm running them into a Tascam M12, and the mic pre for the bass POD needs roughly twice as much gain, everything else being equal. I just wondered if this accords with anyone else's experience. I fell over some boxes in my store - very cheap chinese small goosenecks - with little magnetic mounts (and one violin one too). I thought I'd sell them - I have cut down my work quite a bit ready to retire, I guess. I searched through my old videos on youtube and found a collection of mics on my piano. Hi everyone and best wishes for the new year. I have a couple of questions regarding a pretty old British semi-pro reel 2 reel multitrack recorder (late 70s) the 8 track 1’’ model, Brenell Mini 8. At the moment I’m in the middle of repairing a unit. What happens when you make the projects midi map to slow? It becomes something new and unexpected. Like half the speed of Jeff Lynnes'. Just real simple song map. Midi map the precussion. I tried to get the piano keys sounding different velocities after being smashed with the limiter. That is kinda counterproductive. Simple. Just testing the waters. Cleaned up a little it could be someth.... It is so easy to play with the sound.

Probably in the wrong sub-forum so move if needed. Just wanted to sing the praises of the UK made Rycote InVision USM. While a bit expensive here in the US, I really can’t recommend it enough. Granted, I only have 4 mics (in my signature), this shock mount will cover them all. It will be an upgrade from OEM mounts from the mics I have.
