I have Two HDHomeRun Flex Quatro HDFX-4DT devices, each one has a 1TB WD My Passport AV-TV 2.5" external HDD connected. As per the title - switched on today and the front screen is just circling round a rectangle and the TV screen is blank. Tried removing the USB and rebooting, but no difference. Is it dead or anything I can try?

does anyone know how to stop the foxsat HDR turning over to the channel(s) its going to record? - so I could be watching Challenge say and the recorder is to record something on ITV2 ... and then the next minute it will turn over to ITV2. I want it to stay on Challenge and just record ITV2 in the background. I could understand if I chose 'watch' in the scheduler , but I havent I have chosen 'Record whole program' or 'record series' Thanks

Much to my total chagrin I've bought my first Humax HDD recorder, only to find that it does not do what I wanted. And the one I should have boughtis discontinued. Annoying because I'd been considering the purchase for a long time. I have the FHR-6000T, now the EZ-4K, I believe. It does not connect to the local network so you cannot transfer files from it. Am I unusual in not being aware that among the headphone cognoscenti that headsets are very different things primarily used by gamers. So that when I went asking about getting a new set of budget neckband headphones (not ear buds) mainly for podcast listening from my phone that because my old pair had a microphone it was wrong to be asking in a headphones forum and got chewed out about it.

Quick question. I'm finally (!!!!) getting round to installing the custom firmware on my Foxsat. Have done that. To install Nowster's Patch (settop-patch_4.0.9utc_mips.opk) and telnet_1.0_mips.opk Can I do these in the same way as the custom firmware? Anyway of knowing if they have installed, without using the web interface (have not yet connected my foxsat to my network) 'cause just sticking the usb drive in, does not seem to have done anything regarding the .opk files..........
