October Poll of the Month

Do you use dedicated Snow/Winter tires or wheel set on your EV? Perhaps it doesn't get cold where you live, so this is not really relevant to you. For the folks closer to the poles, even if it doesn't snow, winter tires can have benefits in colder weather offering softer compounds which respond better to cooler temps.

2027 BMW i3 Surprises

The BMW i3 reservation website came online this evening at 6:01 PM EST. I had to sign up on the BMW website for i3 info to get an invitation. My email invitation included a link to add the reservation event to my Microsoft Outlook calendar. Unfortunately, I don't have such a calendar. It took me a half-hour to figure out I had to download the .ics file and find a free online .ics file reader to extract my link to the reservation website. There were surprises. First surprise: At $61,500... Read more

Summer tires available

Appreciate this community. You helped me get into my first EV years ago, and I’ve since owned three. Sadly, my Mini Cooper was taken out by a falling tree, so I’m selling the OEM wheels and nearly new Firehawk Indy 500 tires. Located in St. Louis If anyone is interested I can work out shipping.

Hi everyone! I'm lynsea, a Tesla owner from California. I built teslawrap.io, a free gallery where owners share wrap designs and color ideas. Been lurking here for a while learning from all the wrap threads — finally decided to join in. Looking forward to chatting wraps, colors, and PPF with you all!

BMW Owners in Houston: Where Do You Go for Repairs?

Hi everyone, I live in Houston and drive a BMW. I’ve recently started having a few issues with the car and I’m looking for a reliable independent shop that has experience working on BMWs. I’d prefer to find a shop that can properly diagnose the problem instead of just replacing parts and hoping that fixes it. I also want to have the car inspected to see if there are any other issues I should know about.

Anyone have a pair of stock front springs they could measure?

I'm looking into jumping up a class in autocross. That allows a lot more stuff to be messed with. One of which is springs. I pulled a rear spring out the other day and measured it, but the fronts are way more effort to get at. Does anyone have a pair of stock takeoffs gathering dust that they could measure? I'd like to know length, exact weight and your 2 letter tag code. I use some 1/2 decent kitchen scales for weight...
