I’ve been testing ListView 2.0.3.0 with Lightroom Classic 15.5 on Mac, specifically the spreadsheet round trip for editing metadata, and I seem to have found a reproducible import problem. The viewing and export side is working very well for me. What I wanted was a way to see thumbnails alongside filename, title, caption and keywords, then make bulk metadata changes in a spreadsheet and return those changes to Lightroom. I use F2 to populate the File Name with a sequential set of numbers, e.g. 2025-0001, -0002 etc, for sets of hundreds or thousands of photos, especially scans in LR Classic desktop. Is it possible to populate the Label field in the same way. I use both File Name and Label or different sorts of photos.

I think I have heard/saw several members mention or allude to using 'backup' software for the catalogue and maybe additional files that are a 'delta' type. I'm only backing up on exit and saving many of the zip files it creates. Is there a tool/step I am missing, or have I totally misunderstood what others are saying? What about image files? I use Backblaze, Time Machine, and an external drive, plus a current copy on my system drive. Am I missing anything there?

I was trying to import a photo, that was already in LrC, under a different file name. LrC greyed out the duplicate on the import screen. Is there someway to find the original photo by filename of the duplicate trying to be loaded? Since LrC detected the duplication it must have original file details available. Thanks

I’ve used LrC since its launch. After testing alternatives (none held a candle to LrC), I’m back and optimizing my setup and workflow: LrC v 15.5.1, M1 iMac on Golden Gate. The catalog and last two years of images reside locally on the iMac (mirrored to a Synology NAS via Beyond Compare); older images are NAS-only and accessible/visible in LrC. Historically all my editing gets done on my iMac in LrC. But I have a MacBook Air, an iPad Air, iPad Mini and iPhone 17. If like to integrate one out more of these devices into my work flow. I could use done help with the organization and sync aspects of LrM. Preferred resources?

(Ignore Version no., it was a required field) I recently tried downloading a trial version of Lightroom Classic but ended up with the Cloud version which I've cancelled. I've hit the links again for LrC but once again been led to the Lr plan. How do actually download LrC trial ? Thanks

I know Lightroom Classic doesn't sync videos from synced collections by default, but is there any way to force it sync videos to the cloud?

I was just uploading some photos from my Canon R6II and Lightroom suddenly converted my CR3 files to DNG. Is this something new? Am I losing any information in this process? Thanks in advance.

I’m wondering if I missed an update or option in the forum display options. When I initially loaded it in the Safari browser I got the white/light blue with black lettering color scheme I’ve always seen before. Then I logged on with Chrome a little later and got a black screen with light blue for menus and white for text. IIRC, it used to be the same in each browser.
