HX Edit program font size.

Thanks for the helpful suggestion! I was having the exact same issue with the HX Edit font being too small. Increasing the Display Settings > Scale and Layout worked perfectly for me. Really appreciate you taking the time to share this solution!

Can't get Stadium XL to change my Suhr PT15 amp's channels properly

i already had snapshot set to On for each one. in addition i also set State and Wait Time to Snapshot On. it's buggy. for example if i switch from a preset that's working fine, to one preset in particular, when it loads the preset, it changes my amp to a channel that isn't even assigned on any of my snapshots w/in that preset! Then i'll go to another preset and the original problem prevails, ie- when the preset loads, the amp will be on the wrong channel but as soon as i hit the snapshot foot switch, it goes to the intended/assigned channel. and yet i can switch between other presets with zero issues. i'm wondering if this a "bug" that i should report to Line 6? unless i SHOULDN'T have set State and Wait Time to Snapshot On...except there are presets that work just fine this way.

IRs not changing with snapshots

Cab IR's are the notable exception to this rule (and I've submitted a feature request for similar behavior with proxy clones). Mentioned specifically in the online manual here. Jeff, have you tried setting the IR in a snapshot and saving your entire preset afterwards? If so, a bug report may be in order.

Stadium Set Lists

That sounds more than annoying. It sounds like a flawed implementation. Surely the purpose of using Setlists is that you can navigate to the next preset quickly and easily. I think that when you are viewing a Setlist and hit the Up/Down switches the system should select the previous/next preset in the Setlist, not in the User presets area. I would report this behaviour as a bug.

Which Distortion Pedal Model to Achieve "Vox in a Box" Going into Front of Real Amp?

Here's a weird thing about that- when i use the helix going into an amp's effects loop return (power amp in), i've found that the amp model w/power amp sounds better than just the preamp model. go figure- a modeled power amp into a physical power amp sounds better. way better. well, at least on my Bad Cat. maybe different amps would yield a different result. makes sense. too bad they didn't do a couple AIAB models just for the sake of the people using the HX Effects unit, which could then be carried over to Helix. won't hold my breath on that one though. My benchmark had always been the Wampler Ace-Thirty/Thirty Something, which i sold, and then a few years later bought another which didn't sound as good as i'd remembered. i don't know if that's because my ears changed or maybe the bad one got messed with by a previous owner.

Stadium Set Lists

A frustration for me as a live musician is that if I'm using a custom setlist that is made up of pointers to 'real' USER presets, when I use the footswitches to advance or go backward in my custom setlist (I can't bend down and advance it with the touch screen - I'm on stage), I get dumped back into USER. If the custom setlist is pointers, say, to USER presets 5, 12, 47, when I'm on the first preset in my custom setlist (USER 5) and use a footswitch to go to USER preset 12 (the second preset in my custom setlist), I wind up instead at USER preset 6. Incredibly annoying having to arrange my presets in USER in the order that I want to use them in my custom setlist every time, rather than alphabetically or by some other convention. This means that for every gig I need to go in and rearrange my USER presets to match my custom setlist. Feels very much like a step back, although I do like being able to have the same preset, with the same settings, in different setlists.

Which Distortion Pedal Model to Achieve "Vox in a Box" Going into Front of Real Amp?

What you're missing is that in order to remove the physical amp's preamp section from the signal chain you need to BYPASS the FX Loop Block. For instance, to compare the HELIX AMP MODEL to the PHYSICAL amp you assign both the MODEL's Bypass and the FX LOOP BLOCK's Bypass to the same FS, then SAVE the preset with one ACTIVE and the other BYPASSED. When you press the FS it TOGGLES between the MODEL and the PHYSICAL AMP. Three things to keep in mind: The FULL amp model contains a simulation of the PHYSICAL amp's POWER AMP. That means that you're putting a SIMULATED power amp through the PHYSICAL power amp. An AIAB contains ONLY the preamp section or includes a modified version of the power amp for flavor. The Helix PRE-AMP versions have significantly less OUTPUT LEVEL than the FULL versions. The SPEAKER IMPEDANCE CURVE (the modeled interaction between the PHYSICAL POWER AMP and the PHYSICAL SPEAKER) is contained in the POWER AMP section of the FULL MODEL. This affects FEEL, and is, again, doubled into a physical amp's RETURN. It might be weird, or you might like it. Just something to consider. IOW - to emulate how an AIAB pedal works with a physical amp, you would place a Helix PRE-AMP version BEFORE the FX Loop and Helix FULL amp. You then use a FS to TOGGLE between the physical pre-amp and the full Helix amp model to compare how each sounds with the modeled pre-amp, which is functioning as an AIAB pedal would ITRW. NOTE that it doesn't matter in this scenario whether the Helix
