Please can I ask if any one has had CarPlay retrofitted to their MarcoPolo? I have a 2018 version which would benefit from updating from the current system. Any recommendations for unit or fitting providers?

Has anybody had problems with the nearside DRL not working on main beam or dipped lights when driving. If I put on the parking function it lights up but only half brightness. With the ignition switched on but not the engine running the nearside DRL is illuminated but half brightness but as soon as you start up the engine the DRL goes off. My 2019 Mp gives a problem every time the hood is opened, after closing it keeps telling me that the hood is open. Only after a number of tries to close it it stops. Any advice is welcomed.

Hi guys I have a 2017 MP with an electric pop top. I’m currently heading back home to Gloucestershire after a wonderful couple of weeks exploring Scotland. however, I am getting a little concerned with my pop top closure - when it’s coming down there is an increasing issue where in the final stage it sounds like it is ‘catching’ something on the right side just before closing and will have to be raised again. Apologies for this simple question. We have just connected the vehicle to the main small red light comes on , 230 v socket works but is the fridge on?… and … what is the red light light switch( which is on) do?… it has positions 1 and 2 and off

Just upgraded front door speakers to GAS 6.5 komponent set, worked nicely with adapter ring, and glueing the tweeters in the door panel. It made a tremendous difference in sound quality. Anyone that have done upgrade of rear speakers in the Westfalia interior, the ones sitting in a consol above the back door. How to get access and what to remove? Any hints apreciated.

We are currently in Angouleme and our V250D is at a MB garage. We suffered a total collapse of the electrics, the engine keep going but no dashboard working except an error message for high beam assist, no indicators probably brake lights, side door jammed etc. headlights unable to be switched off. as if metaphorically struck by lightening! The air-conditioning suddenly stopped working a few weeks back in southern France. I called in to a dealer in Bergerac to get it on the computer and they said it was the pressure valve. So last week I put the car in to an independent garage near me in central France and it turns out there are leaks in both the rear pipes, just at the point where the brackets are fixed. I broke a clip some time ago and failed to source them from Mercedes or Westfalia…so I have had some made at great expense.
