One of our Mavericks was parked beneath an oak tree on our property last week. It was windy, but not "hurricane windy" or anything. Apparently, a number of acorns fell from the tree in the wind... and dented the hell out of the hood and the roof of the truck. Little acorns. We've lived in this house almost 20 years and parked countless vehicles under that tree. The acorns bounced harmlessly off our old Escape and my Mustang. Didn't leave so much as a small scuff. But the Maverick is a... How thin is that metal? Pretty thin!
Here are the images of the Black Appearance Package Hood Decals. Also, the Black Painted Roof can not be removed. The option is on the order guide in case their are issues with being able to painted them fast enough like we saw on the Bronco Sport Outer Banks and Badlands in 2023 model year. There is not a Graphics Delete option.
Hello, I am planning some lighting upgrades on my new 26 Mav. Where's the best place under thew hood to grab 12v power that will handle loads? I typically prefer running relays on whatever i am wiring up. Thanks
Good morning all, I've seen plenty of posts about how the el cheapo 12V batteries fail prematurely. I'm in the same boat, have had mine replaced 3 times in 14 months. I know I can simply buy my own AGM 12v battery but am curious as to which exact AGM battery Ford supplied some or any of you straight from the factory/dealer when you bought your truck? Your opinions would be appreciated.
Aug 13, 2026 Edit: Replaced original photos with better comparison photos. This is something I noticed shortly after getting my truck last year (new off the lot) and I've been wondering about. I'm getting ready to have the dealership do the trailer module recall and a few other things that haven't been addressed yet (12v battery, dash squeaks / rattles, etc), so if this is out of tolerances figured I might as well add it to the list. As you can see, the front passenger side door... Front passenger door is inset / not level with the A-pillar
I have a 2023 Hybrid XL. Vehicle shook when accelerating. Both cv axles were replaced and the vibration was elminiated. I did notice under regen, the regen noise seems a little bit louder. Anyone else experience this? Just wondering if it's normal, or perhaps something changed when they replaced both axles?
Hello All, I'm considering subject item for my '25 Lariat Hybrid. I'm not looking for alternatives at this point. My Lariat came with Ford OEM side-rails (the ones with the sliding 2-cleats on each side). Will the Ford rails conflict with the installation of the Kikito rails? I'm concerned about the Kikito clamps that hold its rails in-place flitting with the Ford rail. I need to know before I commit to an Amazon purchase, so I don't have to deal with all the return BS if they do not. I've... Kikito Vinyl Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover Compatibility
I wanted to Install Some Ford Fog Lamps on the Truck and seem that Ford Escape as the same Bcm conector as the Ford Maverick. I Checked and Found that Ford Escape , Ford F150 and Ford explorer had similar headlamp switch. I Found one on Ebay that came from a Ford f150 with the factory fog lamp switch on the center dial. Install it and with forscan enable it. Heres some pics of the process. Need to enable on BCM and IPC . UPDATE F 150 HEADLAMP SWITCH FORD PART NUMBER ML3Z11654BC . Update... In the rear of the bed I thought there was an electr ical connection you can plug into. I assume it is behind that little 2x3 cover that you can remove, but how do you get it out? Do you have to remove the cubbyhole that is forward of the port? Is it possible there is no connector in there and I just read that somewhere? Do I need a coat hanger to reach in there to try to hook it? Thank you for your assistance.
Not sure what Ford was thinking when they put this space in the door behind the water bottle slot. Seems like it ought to be used for something, but what?
I was backing up to my trailer yesterday, and as I got close to the hitch, I noticed a vertical gray bar on the camera that indicated if I was aligned to the hitch. Is this a known feature, or am I just losing it in my old age?
