A very early AH-1G 67-15475, Diane , before she became Judy in the Sky , with the TAT-102A turret housing a single minigun, no ECS (Environmental Control System) but it did receive the newer position lights on the tail boom with the name change. Any idea what this colour is on the engine cases. I come across it a lot on bikes and cars, it looks like a king of graphite maybe ?? Often see it on raw dark alloy castings like gearboxes.
