What Are Some Simple Tips for Taking Better Photos?

I enjoy taking photos and would like to improve my photography skills. I am interested in learning how different camera settings, lighting conditions, and composition techniques can affect the final image. I also want to understand how beginners can practice without making photography too complicated. What simple tips or camera techniques have helped you take better photos? Google Search the world's information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what you're looking for. www.google.com

Nose needs a little work.

D3300 and 18-55 kit and 55-200kit lenses. A day at work for me. This is a 777-200ER. We are changing the nose cowl due to some wear / damage inside the inlet. For scale in the first picture the guy on the work stand is 6'2" tall and is standing on the 7th step of an 8' stand. This is a Rolls Royce Trent 800 powerplant with 90,000# thrust rating. It is a fully computer controlled motor, only electrical wires to the cockpit. The computer is under the large black cover with all the wiring going... Read more

Looking for a Compact, Quick-Access Sling Bag for My Z6

Hi everyone, I'm after a compact sling bag for a Nikon Z6 with either a 28mm f/2.8 or 40mm f/2 mounted. My main priority is quick access for street and travel photography, while keeping the camera protected and off my shoulder/neck when not in use. I've been looking at the S-ZONE Camera Crossbody Sling Bag (around £20/$28), which seems to offer good protection and weather resistance for the money. Has anyone used one? If so, what are your thoughts? I'd also be interested in any alternative... Read more

A D7200 after all this time

I decided to see what the buzz is all about when it comes to the D7200. Lately, I've sold off all of my "late model" DX DSLRs (D7500, D500, D5600) and have acquired several USED, low shutter count, older models, both DX and FX. I bought a D3400, a D750 (again) and a D5300. I also was given a D3300. In almost all instances, these cameras had features that were removed from later versions. I shoot mostly wildlife and my Z6iii and Z50ii take care of my needs for that genre. OTOH, I still... Read more

Boeing 777-200ER engine change.

Ok, finished being lazy last night didn't feel like posting the down pictures. But we got it down last night and started changing some parts from one to the other. But here is the old coming down and the new going up. 2 chain falls in the front, 2 in the rear (btw you don't want to to the front ones ). The front has about 9-10k #'s each. The rear about 3k between them. hahaha. The front 2 chain falls connect directly to the part of the stand that is connected to the engine. The... Read more

Classic Analogue

I spotted a gent today at an event and he was using purely analogue cameras but they were classics - Rolleiflex 3.5f model and the superb Leica M2. I did not have time to talk to him as after taking this photo the rain came down and we all scattered for cover but I do love this image of cameras I have also owned and used in my working career....................great to see them still being used by skilled individuals...
