Looking for a used mixing station, or the parts to put one together. Happy to drive for the right setup. What I'm after: 1. Two or three barrels, 30 gal or so, with a stand 2. Plumbing, valves, and a transfer pump if you've got them 3. RODI unit (6 stage if possible, we're on chloramine here) I'd take any of it separately too. I was bored and decided to take a few pics of the cube with my camera phone. Enjoy!

I pulled this rock out as it looked black in the tank but is covered in slime green. It smelled horrible so I tossed in a bucket with water, vinegar and peroxide. Will see in a week or two and decide to keep or toss.

Question for everybody, I just acquired several Scolys and Gonipora as well as a jawbreaker from a tank crash. I noticed brown jelly on a torch Coral in that tank which I left. Should I dip these corals before trying to rescue them or leave them since they are already stressed? If I dip, the only solution I have is the hydrogen peroxide method for brown jelly disease. I do not see any of it on these corals, but I did see some of it attached to a torch Coral in that tank. Thoughts

Some questions about rodi. I recently changed my ro membrane. New membrane is same brand and model that was in there, purchased from Amazon. Rodi unit is a BRS 4 stage. Before change tds was at 2ppm. After new ro tds went to 4. Sediment and carbon were changed mid august, and di resin is half depleted per color change. Doubtful I've made more than 75 gal since. The recent change of those and my low water production is what led me to believe it's time to change the few year old ro membrane... Read more

As stated been having issue with my tank and did a 25g WC two weeks ago and 10g WC this week. Parameters are in range except for Phos at 1. I added what little Rowaphos I had left to try and reduce it. On R2R I posted as well and someone said to salinity. Well finally borrowed a new hobbyist refractometer and compared the reading to mine and now very confused. Mine read 1.026 and the other read 1.017. I got to frag this teal green monti. Originally got it from reefco and it was just a green monti. It will encrust if you let it, or if you put it on a pedestal or don’t let it touch the rock it will plate out like here. I won’t frag it yet unless people seem to be interested in it.
