Thank-you Mario and Bizz for your replies. I very much appreciate the response. I think I shall eschew HC and take the walk of shame. I know it is odd, but I have rather developed an attachment to the character, and will continue his adventures in the normal realm.

Hey! Posting here because the Ideas and Suggestions section is locked. The database shows about a 1.4% drop chance for each Towerforge recipe from Master Blacksmith Rolfen in Lower Karazhan Halls. Is that actually correct? Seems really low — could it be a typo, like 1.4% instead of 14%? The recipes are bind-on-pickup, so you can’t even buy them from someone else. By the time you finally get one, newer content with better gear might already be out. It’s an interesting set, but getting it feels almost impossible when even the recipes barely drop. If this rate is intentional, would you consider increasing it?

I completely accept that asking beforehand would have prevented the situation. However, that works both ways: if I cannot assume the craft is free, how can the crafter assume I agreed to pay a price that was never communicated to me?
