Good morning members , I was waiting long time to tackle this problem with my omega tank 111.024 , couldn’t figure out the problem , finally last night I decided to disassemble it and hurray I found the problem , taking off the dial I found that the balance jewel on dial side is missing a (mystery ??) got the watch on eBay long long ago and just left it unattended , now going through my stuff decided maybe it’s time to give it a try, it has the 620 movement , and hallelujah I have 2 spears... Hi all! Heard the two are interchangable (1012 is an upgrade of 1002). Wondering since I have a Omega de ville 166.094 ("Disco Volante") where the dial needs to be exchanged due to bad shape. Found one on eBay that looks identical but says its for 1012. Would it fit my 1002? Thanks! //Stefan
Hello Omegafans I have seen to many bezels in the last days and I feel more unsure now, than before. (Sorry for my european english☺️). I have an authentic Speedmaster 145.012.67 but the bezel was exchanged and I do not know, if its correct. I hope my photos are good enough? Is ist a fake/ aftermarket, or a newer Omega Servicebezel, or an original part for this model? I would be grateful for a professional answer.
Hello Omega Forums members, Today I’d like to share another watch from my collection, together with a rather uncommon bracelet that I recently paired with this Seamaster. First, I already own another Omega ref. 14700 in an all-steel case with a ribbon dial. You may notice that this example has the handset more commonly seen on this Seamaster reference, and I think it pairs very nicely with the BOR bracelet. The watch I’d like to share today is another Omega ref. 14700, also... Read more
I'm sure there is a lot knowledge here. Poking around with the 600 this listing on ebay states over 370,000 of these were produced. That sounds like an enormous amount between 1971-79 of the first gen years. Is this indeed possible... Read more
I just bought this gorgeous Omega Ploprof named to a USMC Gunnery Sergeant who was a diver in the 3rd Recon Battalion in Vietnam. His name and rank are engraved on the back.
Pick three watches with a common theme from your collection, and wear only those watches for a month. For me, October is the month of hummers. (One watch for a whole month is not enough fun and too hard anyway.)
Hi everyone. I love my Geneve Dynamics (being a child of the 70's). Just browsing the listings on eBay UK and came across this Dynamic with a dial version I'm not familiar with: Omega Geneve Dynamic . Here's a photo. To my untrained eye the dial looks remarkably good with crisp fonts and the "T swiss made T" looks good. The lume looks remarkably tidy as well, so it doesn't look like a redial to me. The green seconds hand is not something I've previously seen. Any... Read more
Any ideas for an alternate watch band for this BWC watch? The one that’s on it now doesn’t look right to me. I kind of like the look of this nylon strap. I have one somewhere but so far unable to find it. All suggestions welcome! (Dictated by Alex, typed by Martha)
I bid on this on Sunday, whilst relatively new to vintage speedmasters I thought I’d done my homework. Description initially said 2998-2, I queried with Blenheims as I wasn’t sure dial was correct, hard to see in photos but also thought alpha hands were too short, likely seamaster. Blenheim’s didn’t reply but removed -2 from description, somewhat surprised to see it go for £12000 plus 26-29.5% premium, did I miss something?
My art work and my lovey Omega Geneve
