Almost 4 years ago I went from a Ford F-150 to a Toyota Tundra. When looking for parts to add to the Tundra then I came across Overlanding. I dove down this rabbit hole of adventure and started to do my research and planning of my rig. It was 2.5 years in and I went to a meet-up. I felt out of place and that my truck was just a truck. But this event was made for beginners. So we took a nice easy run of some backroads and forset service roads. While not much it was nice to see how... Read more

Hey everyone, this is my second attempt at building my own drawer storage system in the back of my 80 series Land Cruiser. i waited until i was most of the way done to post just incase it came out bad Ha! im happy to answer questions about what where or how, but here's the basics: Frame is 20/20 extruded aluminum, all material and hardware came from Amazon Drawers are made of 3/4" plywood (in hindsight i probably could have done 1/2" plywood came from home depot Drawer Slides all came from... I have a Jackery Explorer 2000 V2 that I charge off my truck’s power when driving and solar when parked. The Jackery then runs my fridge, so when I stop for a hike or to explore the fridge still has power. The problem is the Jackery only has USB and cigarette plug DC outputs, and the cigarette plug for the fridge keeps vibrating out of the Jackery. I’d like to modify the Jackery DC out to be an Andersen plug; I can get an Andersen power cable for my fridge. Has anyone opened their... Read more
I'm really hyped on this one; I picked up a 1990 HDJ81—triple locked, 1HDT diesel motor. The first drive home was 8 hrs, and did it with no issues. It's pretty wild that a 33-year-old truck runs like a dream! The first thing I had done was a PDI intercooler and trans cooler. Waiting on gauges, I had to put an EGT gauge in for now so I'm using a GlowShift. I'll be swapping to REDARC gauges hopefully soon. And I have them in a SAAS a-pillar... Read more

Selling our 2012 SoCal Teardrops Krawler 459 located in Visalia, California. This is a compact, purpose-built off-road teardrop with an articulating hitch, high-clearance chassis, adjustable airbag suspension, enclosed sleeping cabin, and rear galley. It has been well cared for and is ready to camp. We’ve enjoyed the trailer, but we simply aren’t using it enough anymore and would like to see it go to someone who will put it back on the trail. Specs / off-road setup ... Read more
Hello and welcome to all new members :) The main forum to introduce yourself to all members is here but as @Rockwilder mentioned it, it is a worldwide section and as OB is very active, new posts can be swallowed quickly and we can miss some of our Mid Europe new members. So the idea is to also post something here, as we really want our community to grow with quality relationships and we don’t want to miss the opportunity to welcome you and get to know you. @Polaris... Hey all just got a new to me 23 Chevy Silverado RST, anyone roll with this truck? Can I see your set ups? Thanks!
Hey everyone, New to the group, hoping I can learn as much as I can. I recently installed a Carli 2.5" leveling kit with torsion sway bar and track bar, and added 35" Toyo AT3s + 18" wheels. I have read a lot of differing opinions online about fitting a 35" spare in the spare tire location but it's trending toward no. Any suggestions on bed mounted solutions?
