Our first meeting of the month is different as it will be next Sunday (4th Oct) instead of our usual mid-week meets. This should enable those of us who are still working to attend. We will be parking up at Burghley House in Stamford from 12:00 for a picnic lunch. If anyone else wishes to join in just let me know and I'll send full details. Al

Next Wednesday 30th 6pm onwards, Malt Shovel Pub, Coventry Road , Nr Stonebridge , Coventry, CV7 7HL. Entrance to the pub car park is off the A452 Chester Ro ad h eading North 50 yards from the island. Hopefully there'll be a few kits there. Everyone welcome, see you there.

Our September meeting is on next Tuesday at the Church Mouse, Chester Moor DH23RJ, Once again all are welcome to join us from 7pm, for those taking their kits off the road for the winter it could be a chance of a run before the end of the month. For Sale. The hard top for my old 2B. Photos show it fitted to the car in 2014. The car is now sold but the new owner doesn't want the hard top. Custom made by me, aluminium construction, opening rear window, carpet lined. No use to me now and I haven't got the heart to scrap it. It was made to fit a 2B so will only really be suitable for another 2B and the screen position might need adjusting to get it to fit. It's not just going to drop straight on. Consider it a start of a project with all the hard work done. Doors not included but they're easy enough to make and I did a build thread on making doors which is here on the forum. The full build thread is linked below, if you're interested, read the thread first as that will probably answer most questions. It's not that heavy but it won't fit in a hatchback or an estate car so bear that in mind. I am selling my Robin Hood Exmo chassis, as I am taking the engine and gearbox for another project. It has tie rod front suspension conversion, adjustable shocks all round. It will just need a new engine, gearbox. It has been through IVA in 2021 and is registered on D plate. Also comes with side screens. £2500 Please ask if you have any questions or would like more pics.
