Hi Science Olympiad botanists! I am excited to share a botany mock that I have created that anybody can take for practice before the invitational season starts! I will eventually post a test review video to my youtube channel as well which may also be helpful. Scores and feedback on this test will be very helpful in improving my future tests for invitationals! https://forms.gle/MYnNjAm7irUJ6Yg66 Wait could you PDFify this and put it on the test exchange? I think a lot more people would see it that way. (Cause there's like two (2) currently existent botany tests) Or if you want someone else to PDFify it one of us can

Didja know Cook County Illinoise (the county that has Chicano and some od its suburbs like Palatine/DesPlaines/Schaumburg) is the most populous vounty in the United States of Amweica?
Granted, but everyone in the school is in the class (even if they didn't try out) and your social studies teacher is the assistant coach. I wish I could have premium spotify for free Granted, but everyone gets premium Spotify for free and the music artists get angry and boycott spotify. So now most songs are somewhere else instead of Spotify. I wish I could get to more places without having to drive.
i love reviving old threads this week ive been procrastinating a lot but at school i practice a ton of aristos for codebusters (even though i might not even get the event) ive also done some anatomy
Hi everyone! Is there a list of conflicts for trial and national events? I could only find the national conflict schedule. Thanks!
Thank you so much! This site and it’s forums have been so helpful, and I really appreciate you and others taking the time to answer !
I have also been searching all over the website for the Food Science Experiment Form, as I have a duo ready to get started. We live where winter weather can be highly variable and unpredictable, so we are actively trying to make use of these next few weeks before all of that starts! It is extremely frustrating as a coach and parent when everything these kids need is not released at the same time. Same thing for the experiment form. It's mentioned in the rules, so might be able to get an answer from the science olympiad rules questions and clarifications folks at https://www.soinc.org/food-science-div-b Though I will say that the duo can already start practicing the lab tasks before the Experiment Form comes out. The Experiment Form is just for how to format [the ways they tested what works better for their lab tasks] in their notebook, which they'll turn in before the competition. (seems like the notebook's kinda like the Design Log for build events in that way) They don't need the Experiment Form for doing the lab tasks during the actual competition time. So it makes sense to already start practicing the lab tasks and experiment with what modifying certain quantities does. Even if you can't write it down in the exact format they want yet, you can still practice doing the lab tasks, changing variables to see what works better, recording what changes, and all that. Good luck to your team! I hope the weather doesn't cause too many problems. It's really annoying when you can't p
im also quite late as well I worked on solar meteorology remote and hovercraft each about 1 hour a day every day Good for you! Alas, I can't dedicate this much time so... I use a lot of AI.
Thank you to everyone that replied! The only reason i asked that question is cuz some of the non dairy milks are very uncommon and hard to find, making it more expensive. Is there anyone who would know the answer to this question that i could reach out to?? I think someone might've said this earlier in the thread, but the Science Olympiad folks have a place where you can ask questions about the rules and they'll explain it. Because practicing the lab tasks is a big part of the event and because a lot of people probably have the same question, probably is very much worth asking. Here's the link: https://www.soinc.org/food-science-div-b I will warn that they do give vague non-answers half the time, but that's still better than nothing and the other half of the time they do give substantive answers.
This is SO LATE (I mean this thread is 3 years old) but I worked on the DP binder with my partner! It's mostly ChatGPT (I confess, my friends have convinced me that you can't write a binder without AI, no matter how much y'all will look down on me). But I digress. We have a practice (test-off) tournament next month and a real invite in November, so we need to lock in. Our school blocked all ais a long time ago and im not allowed to us our home computer
