1967 Simplicity landlord 2010 throttle/governor linkage help

Hello everybody, this is my call for help. I got a free simplicity landlord from the 60s. The model is a 2010 it runs, but it was used as a parts tractor. The only thing they took was the governor linkage Springs. They messed with the carburetor and loosen into everything, and also the throttle cable, and they also took the rod going from the governor to the carburetor.. I have no clue how to put it back together. I’m just gonna use springs and rods from other mowers. I can’t really figure it out and I can’t really find any media on it. Please help me thank you so much but I’m looking forward to some pictures or videos of your own machine. If you have the same one or similar so I could reference..

Sunstar 14 Hp Air Cleaner

I have a question about my new to me Sunstar. The hood will not close properly with the air cleaner housing in place. When I got the machine, there were several dents in the sheet metal, so I removed the hood and made them got away. when I reinstalled the hood, it will not close properly due to conflict with the Kohler air cleaner in place. The air cleaner assembly was not on the tractor when I got it, so was unaware that there was a space conflict. Does anyone here know if there was a special snorkel or similar that was on the engine to prevent the conflict, or what type Kohler air cleaner was installed so that the hood bracing does not interfere with the air cleaner? The machine is a 14 HP Sunstar

Wish I could say it jumped onto my trailer but it took 3 people to push it on. 1973 PowerMax. It may need a starter….. Purchase was encouraged by an undisclosed “Enabler” on this site.

Failed Sunstrand debris in Deutz Allis 917

Picked this up many years ago with a bad sunstrand. The internals were blown. I have a donor transmission but want to keep the power steering from the original setup. Should the debris have been caught in the filter or must the control valve and cylinders be disassembled or flushed somehow? Thank You.

Followed me home from Last consignment Auction of 2026

Couldnt resist at significantly under a hundred bucks.. This was sold for a Broadmoor ( mid 2000's) . Everything is there to use it on a Conquest/Prestige but the lift bracket that goes on the tractor lift shaft...but I already have some of those. Looks like everything is there thats supposed to be there. Even came with the footplate mounted lift lever, which I did not even know they made for the Broadmoor. I do have a Lift lever kit for those Broadmoors, but its a lift lever setup just like on the ConQuests .With that you buy and add to the tractor to use a blower or front blade, and it replaces the fender mounted lift lever for the mower deck.. Now to save space I will have to find a home for the 42" orange AC blower I upfitted to the Conquest Prestige series.

Simplicity Pulleys

Did Phoenix Mfg. Co. make the splined pulleys for Simplicity mower decks and the turbo kits? I wonder if we could have some remade since the turbo pulley 1709335SM is no longer available for turbo kit 1692257? I'm sure Simplicity used a common spline on their mower shafts.

AGCO 918 followed me home.

Saw this at the salvage yard and couldn’t leave it behind. After getting it home and looking it over, the traid will turn only 1/8th turn. Was run with almost no oil and got hot under the hood. One of the headlights is somewhat melted. I’m keeping the seat, the translucent gas tank, maybe the deck for other projects. If I buy another tractor I’m looking at this one may have to find a new home. The orange paint isn’t great with peeling in places and some rust. Looks a lot better wet. I do have a 25hp command as a possible donor but it is also likely seized due to mechanical failure.

Mid-PTO lever slipping

Another question to you learned doctors of antique tractorology... I've got my PTO asjusted out right with the correct belts finally, I've got some solid steel pulleys for the deck on order (see previous post), and I've got my cutting height set right. The only issue I have is the PTO engagement lever sometimes slips down when from the disengaged position enough to start the blades turning slowly. Is this a jackshaft spring adjustment issue or is it related to the main nut on the lever? Today I replaced the regular nut with a stop nut torqued to where it's snug but still allows good travel. Thoughts?

Sovereign Leaf Vacuum Tube Question

I have a leaf vacuum on my 7116. The rigid tube from the deck to the elbow into the blower has shattered. I replaced it 3 years ago but the plastic I used apperantly was not the right kind and it just shattered into pieces, the original cracked in several places. The tube is made by rolling 3/32" x24" x 36" plastic and bolted together. Does anyone have any experience in replacing this pipe? What did you use? What kind of plastic there are so many kinds and I don't have experience and knowledge about them.

Sleeve (Single Point) Hitch & Accessories

Having recently acquired and revived a B110 with Hydro Lift, and determined to make the most of a GT with hydraulics, I set about to make a sleeve hitch and then some add-ons for particular tasks. I'm probably not done yet as I contemplate more tasks I can use those 10 horses for. I'm posting them here to perhaps serve as an inspiration or idea for anyone that happens across them. My "shop" (the concrete slab outside my garage) is pretty simple, the primary tools being a 115V welder and 4 1/2" angle grinders, so nothing out of the reach of most folks (like mills and lathes are for me). Everything (except fasteners) is built from salvage/scrap materials I've accumulated.
