OEM ARB Tacoma roof rack noise. Real world fix!

OEM ARB Toyota Roof Rack noise issue fixed. The Real Final Solution! I know there are plenty of posts out there that claim they’ve solved the noise issue with these roof racks. But this is the real fix. Usually the fix claimed is by performing the TSB issues to install longer pegs, and while that may solve the horrid vibrations noise, it doesn’t really quite down the rack. This rack is without a doubt one of the loudest, nastiest wind noise makers ever produced en mass. Even with the new... OEM ARB Tacoma roof rack noise. Real world fix!

The Official Unofficial Super Pacific X1 Camper Thread

Anybody else see the new wedge camper and RTT made by Super Pacific? I heard about it because they are local to me in the Portland, OR area. I am in no way shape or form affiliated with them just thought I'd share another option in the wedge game. They are doing a limited viewing (due to COVID) at the Rigs & Coffee even on July 11 at Wanderlust Overland but you'll need to RSVP. There is more info on the camper and RTT on their website... Wiring for a dashcam

I'm trying to connect my Garmin mini dash cam up to my rear view mirror on my 2026 Tacoma TRD Sport. I'm not sure which Dongar adapter I will need to connect power to the dash cam or which plug I can connect to behind my auto dimming rear view mirror panel. Any help, photos, or guidance anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. I did look through 5 pages of past 4th gen post looking for and figuring I'd find an answer, but surprisingly I did not. When I used search words, it... Wiring for a dashcam

New-ish Member

Hello all, I have been referencing Tacoma World for what seems like 15 years. I previously had an account, but rarely posted. Had to create a new one. I have a 2002, 4x4, 3.4, standard transmission, extra cab that has been my baby since he only had 6 miles on him. Bought him new on January 1, 2002. I'm 49 years old and this is only my second vehicle in life. I may call him my baby, but I certainly don't baby him. He has seen some amazing trails from CO, CA, UT, and my home state of AZ. He... Fender Driver side

Hi, Is it easy to replace the driver's-side fender? Has anyone removed the fender in the past? Any diagram or video? Someone hit my right fender, and I would like to replace them from this company: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3774514261...=0&osub=-1~1&crd=20260930092505&segname=11400

Blown head gasket

I posted this thread a little over a week ago. Have since put it in the shop because it was over heating. They did a pressure test and confirmed a blown head gasket with a repair cost of around $4000. Here's the original thread: I have a 2012 2.7l at tacoma with about 216,000 miles on it. I've had the check engine/trac off come on sporadically over the course of the last couple years. It would usually shudders at startup after sitting overnight or maybe even at a red-light but would go away... Blown head gasket

Best Battery charger/Booster Jump Starter?

2020 Toyota Tacoma--- I need a Battery booster/Battery charger/air compressor,. Ideally unit would also charge my power banks, power my lap top, mobile StarLink for a few hours. Needs an AC outlet. Sturdiness is a premium (If something can be broken i have a knack/curse of breaking it). Would also like some method of keeping some medications cold for 7-10 days. Plan on charging device from my truck bed outlet when I am on highway, dubious of charging when off paved roads (fragility... Best Battery charger/Booster Jump Starter?

Mice in cab- not from HVAC air entrance

I live out of my truck for 3++ weeks every summer as I take a hiking/climbing trip to CO. I never had any mice issues until ~5 years ago. Had some mice in the cab, covered the HVAC air entrance with a piece of expanded metal wired in place. The openings are diamond shaped, say, .3x.8", small enough that my pinky fingernail would only go halfway in. This turned out to be too large as I still got a few mice occasionally. I added a layer of wire mesh on top, .25" square spacing between... Mice in cab- not from HVAC air entrance
