Making Money using AI

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well. Some background: I have a bachelor's degree in economics, not IT or computer science, and I currently run an ecommerce business where I make about $500 a month selling products. I can put in 8 to 10 hours a day toward learning something new. I want to pick up an AI-related skill (not AI itself, but a skill built around using AI tools) that I could get genuinely competent at within about 3 months, use to make real money online in a way that's ethical... How to optimize UX with Vibe coding?

Hey all, I often vibe code small tools for personal use with Codex. The problem: they're functional for my need, but I don't like their UX. So how could I optimize UX? how can I know and/or tell AI to optimize this way which is better? Thanks in advanced, Louis

Helping Car Detailers Make Profit

Intro: I've been in the detailing niche (on and off) for almost 4 years now and I've had lots of success. Detailing is a magical niche: - $300 to clean a car - the competition is all solo detailers doing it as a side hustle - everyone has a car (lots of demand) - 0 skill barrier, there is only a marketing barrier - its a local business so you're only competing with people from your city Almost every detailer is passionate about cars and they never make over 15k/month... Rat race escape foot notes?

Hello, I’ve been reading the great rat race escape and have noticed some things are marked with s66 or s36. I figured these were references to footnotes but I don’t see them in the back of the book? There are some at the bottom of the page but unrelated to the markings.

Young fastlaners: SHUT DOWN ALL SOCIAL MEDIA

Important note: The internet is the most powerful communication tool in the history of mankind. All powerful tools are inherently dangerous and need to be used properly. There is a huge difference between using a tool , and being crushed by it . It all depends on how you use them. This thread is not about demonizing certain technologies, or black and white thinking. I'm not saying anything is inherently good or bad, but what I am saying is that a lot of people are using... Read more

[PROGRESS] Service to create order tracking links

I get really nervous when I don't know where my order is. Especially if it's a long-term order as a custom item. Many big shops expose order tracking on their sites, though, but not everyone, especially not the small, custom workshops. Sharing that information really eases a lot of nervousness and avoids lots of calls/messages like, "What's the current status of my order?" If you see it's cut, being assembled, or ready for pickup, it's easier to wait. I saw Rory Sutherland say that showing... Read more

Anyone in the Ecommerce space looking for a mastermind type group? Not selling one.

Its been quite a while since I have posted on the Forum but always value coming back to learn new things and be around other entrepreneurs. I am in ecommerce and have been for a while. My brand is about 3 years old and we are gaining the most traction I have seen this year. Last year revenue was 150K and this year will be more than double that. My goal is a 9 figure exit. I have no plan B. I have put time into looking for groups in this field with no luck. I even tried EO Accelerator and... Read more

Starting (and Fastlaning) a lawn care service business

21 and currently selling cars at the moment. I’ve got some money to throw at something. I just bought a used trailer and have some lawn equipment. Got a pro website, branding, and I have decent copywriting skills for posting ads. Started with craigslist, Google AdWords and I’m on yelp and google maps. I posted just a single craigslist ad and in a couple hours had jobs booked for $200 for a few hours of work. I got 4 of them within a couple hours. I did this to test my market. (I bought the... This 65-year-old investing book held the secret to good decisions...

This is an article from MJ DeMarco and the Fastlane Newsletter <<-- click to subscribe! This Old Book Held a Simple Secret to Investment Profits and Good Decisions Many years ago, I read an old book originally published in 1960 called “How I made $2M in the stock market” by N. Darvas. Back then, $2 million was more like $20 million. In reflection, I only remember ONE thing from that book, and it was this: Pay no attention to a stock's daily moves as it is all random... Read more

The Masterclass in Enshittification...

First, an apology. If you tried to access the forum or my website recently, you were likely met with a 403 error or an endless grinding screen. The server was under extreme duress. I won't bore you with the technical details, but I will tell you who decided to take a nap while my business was bleeding: LiquidWeb. For 18 years, I was a loyal customer. I sent them thousands of dollars. I even recommended them in one of my books (now I need to edit my book). I praised their operation... Read more
