I'm going to be down in Grand Isle in November with the family. Does anyone have any recommendations for a guide down there who could put us on some fish? The trip would be the first "boat" fishing trip for an 11- and 8-year-old. Thanks!

I got a quote for a 23 shoalwater at a boat show, Yamaha, 1 power pole, trailer.. $104k (and the sales guy said I was lucky to get that price) no electronics, no trolling motor, no trim tabs... nothin for my $104k Simmons selling $200k+ boats, Mamba and Turner boats right behind him trying to sell at the same prices. Splatter paint hulls... 6 figures.. Kayaks for $6k WITH FINANCING !!? there was a rod maker at the Houston tackle show selling... New boat prices .. now a rich mans sport?
