Hey guys, I have a 1991 vr4 with some compressor surge. Pulls hard through low gears and stuff, but if trying to gain in 5th and sometimes 4th under 3000rpms, you can hear the turbos whooshing back and forth. I have been getting around it by downshifting, but it gets annoying after a while. The surge is %100 noise, and doesn't create any sort of jerky acceleration or surging throttle. Just makes cruising or even trying to gain 5mph on the highway in 5th annoying. Would anti surge turbo... Light Compressor Surge- Fixes/Ideas

My 1992 Stealth TT is smoking out of the exhaust. Sometimes the smoke looks white(ish) and sometimes it looks blue(ish). It definitely smells like burning oil. It doesn't smoke all the time....it's very intermittent. If the car sits for a few days and then you start it, you're more likely to get smoke. Weird right? I replaced the entire exhaust system, (gutted precats, removed main cat, installed test pipe, etc..) and when I removed the *factory exhaust* I didn't notice any unburnt oil... Car smokes out tailpipes (turbos, valve seals or rings?)

hi guys the inline fuse holder for the hotwire kit that the previous owner put on my car (1990 gto TT) keeps blowing every time I start cranking the car. i'm pretty sure it's still fine when the ignition is on, just not when it starts. prior to this happening i replaced the fuel pump with a walbro 255. i'm a bit lost, apart from some bad grounds/ground to earths/exposed wiring which i'm going to check after work tonight, i can't think of anything else that could cause this to happen. we... euro3s hotwire kit blowing 30a fuse every time i crank the car!

I think the title speaks for itself, but whenever I start my car or I sit somewhere for too long (like a traffic light or drive thru) my exhaust smokes badly. It’s like whitish and maybe a little blue, but the blue is very faint. It stops when I start to move, but at a stop it blows smoke everywhere. I really gotta get it fixed but I have no clue as to what the issue could be in the slightest. I am running a test pipe, but even then I feel like it wouldn’t cause this much smoke.

My 93 stealth ES is is misfiring causing a drop in power, I bought it like this and I've been trying to figure it out. It has brand new coils, plugs, injectors and PTU, fuel system. The only thing I haven't been able to verify yet is the ECU and compression, the ECU seems to have been rebuilt at some point but Ive been told rebuilt ones can still fail from being done incorrectly. It doesn't seem like the capacitors are messed up but I've also heard they can fail while still looking good. Is... 93 stealth es- possible ECU problem

I had to replace the catalytic converter on my '92 GTO to get it through emissions, however, I couldn't remove the exhaust high-temperature sensor (MD172407) from the old one to install in the new cat. Replacements seem to be increasingly difficult to find. Does anyone know if it's fine to run without, or if there is anything compatible I could use instead? Thanks!

Like the title says, would I be shunned if I wanted to mod it 😥 lol! Now I'm not talking about anything crazy, just a few light mods that can be easily reversed. My son says he will disown me, he's a purist to the fullest extent, and is worried about the rarity of what we have. BUUUUT, if it can all be reversed, is that so bad? lol I'm thinking intake (I already got the 2g dsm fipk), maybeee intake/intercooler hard pipes (idk about that one yet, I do not want to delete the charcoal... '91 Stealth Pace Car...Would It be a sin to mod this thing lol
