Hi,does anyone have a drawing/sketch for the Caliper adaptor bracket on a 73 Mk2 850 for fitment of a Brembo 4 pot caliper?Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi all, Been having some issues with Lockheed Brake Calipers recently. I bled the front brake recently as it was very, very spongy and it was a lot better after but made the error of noticing the bleed screw was weeping a little so tighened it a little more and it snapped. It then became a fatal error after the 'easy-out' screw remover snapped off. Anyone tell me the thread size on the outrigger plate stud, part number 06-4728. The threads on the case are stripped and need to be heli-coiled. British thread size, American thread size? Thanks

What type of bleeding device are you blokes using that you would recommend? I have cNw twin Brembos at the front plus their hydraulic clutch. It has Dot 5 (silicone), not that that matters. It is non-hydroscopic but figure I should change to fluid soonish. I have heard of "pressure bleeders" but never owned or used one. Any helpful advice appreciated.

Today's article by respected Australian financial guru "the barefoot investor" (aka Scott Pape) who I regularly read, opened my eyes on an appalling situation. He's usually pretty spot-on so I don't doubt this info, but it is just so bad. Makes me sad for humanity.

I’m looking for a new stock cam for a ‘71 750. I’ve seen mention of Andover Norton, RGM, Newman and JS Racing as providers of camshafts on this site. Looking at the various websites for pricing, RGM 170 pounds, Newman 205 chilled/255 billet. Andover is at 419. The JS stuff looks top notch but probably overkill for what I’m doing. Any reason the AN cam is double the Newman and RGM cams? I’ve seen concerns regarding orders from RGM. Is that still an issue? Will any standard cam work... Read more

Not sure this would apply to anyone but myself since I use a couple of fuel additives. It may however be useful to FCR owners that use ethanol fuel. I was doing a needle clip position change 4 months. When I pulled the needles out I noticed a dull brown film on the needles and a ring of weird looking green buildup in the same spot on both needles. I hadn't had the needles out for close to a year.
