I keep seeming to run into this problem and just replace the board usually. This time, I'm trying to diagnose it and running into dead ends. I've replaced U4 and R17,R18,R19,R20 based on the schematic after replacing the motor itself. I'm getting 33k o...

Does it work fine on batteries? If so, then U1 or something in that circuit is suspect, as U1 is mainly there to make the 5v USB turn into 3v for the controller. If it also does not work on batteries, then U5, U6 or something in their circuits are susp...
I have an issue with the 1914 model: when connected via USB, it starts making a buzzing sound and doesn't do anything. I swapped out the top circuit board (the one with the buttons) and it works with the replacement board; I?ve inspected the old board,...
Half of those marked spots are ground, the other half are the AN+ rail (power for the sticks), so if those are indeed shorted, the first thing I'd suspect is you have some solder or damage on one of the AN+ spots that is causing it to touch the ground ...
I desoldered pots and there are shorted pins on pcb(marked by red dots) Any ideas?
No worries, welcome.

Hi, RDC. I'm trying to gut a DualSense and use its board as the controller for a hitbox(a stickless arcade controller). I'm looking for a test point that goes low when the DualSense is off and high when it's on, or vice versa. It's for the POWER_OK si...
Some of those I do not have the values for, as I'm not 100% sure what they put on there. My best guess would be some kind of TVS Diode, but the thing should still work with those missing. Your first image has ?5 and ?7 missing, that board should still ...
