Hello, and welcome to the Caption Challenge. I am your host, Suzanne. This week some of the Bluecat clan have stayed up late talking over some hot chocolate in their new game room. Wondering what they are talking about, which should be good creative fodder for this round of make-your-own-joke. Have you ever used an alternate Microsoft Office Software Suite? Yes! I used OpenOffice quite a bit back in the day and then transitioned to LibreOffice later on. I’ve also used iWork a while back very frequently and I’ve used Google Docs to collaborate with people and access my docs from my phone. How many alternatives have you heard of? All of the above in the last question. Never heard of WPS Office or ONLYOFFICE until writing this article. Have you ever worked for a company that used something other than Microsoft Office? Nope, not yet. What is your favorite Office program (Microsoft Office included)? LibreOffice. Which one is your least favorite and why? iWork. OpenOffice would have been at the top if it still existed and only because it used Java. What would you like to see in an Office program that you haven’t seen in one yet? I don’t know. For decades, Microsoft Office has been the default suite of applications for all of your business needs. From word processing to spreadsheets to presentations and everything in-between, Microsoft has kept a strangle hold on this from the time Lotus died to the time that open source and the internet became household names. Many applications have come and some have even gone. Some of the big names include OpenOffice, LibreOffice, Google Workspace, iWork, WPS Office, and ONLYOFFICE. Despite all of these alternatives coming out, Microsoft still seems to have a hold in their software space. Whether you’ve used one of these applications or just seen them in action, they definitely have their place in the market space and are a great topic of conversation for someone who is either looking for another office product or someone who just wants to try something new. I don’t see all of the OOB patches from September in Action1. Maybe @Gene-Action1 has some additional information about this for us?

Kind of a strange answer, but I like the High-visibility control panel. I don’t know how many times I’ve been working in a closet and can’t see what the UPS says. An LCD that tilts is awesome. Sometimes, it’s the little things that bring the most joy.

I have to admit I’m not massively au fait with Cloud Flow, but if I remember correctly, you could trigger a Desktop Flow from it that might be able to run a program like PDFSAM to burst the PDF into individual pages. You should then be able to trigger a third Flow to import them from the directory it drops the pages in?

Here´s what i did (although with Linux as base): Get a USFF-PC with an SATA-SSD slot (HP ProDesk G5 600 is what i chose) Get a SATA to RAID adapter like this one dual M.2 SATA to SATA RAID adapter or this dual mSATA to SATA RAID The ProDesk offers two additional NVMe slots which i used as SoftRAID. To get the second NVMe into the case, you need to cut parts from the SATA casing… G5 600 limitation: only 32GB of RAM max As the NVMes will heat up the system, it is placed in a cooled server environment…

It sounds like the ticket system started resizing or compressing inline images during email processing. Since the original and resent screenshots are normal, I’d check for any recent changes to attachment handling or image scaling in the ticket settings.

Our ticket notifications stopped working about a week ago. Prior to that, we were receiving an email for every new ticket at our designated ticket assignment address, but nothing is coming through now.
