(fact or opinion is okay ) are you just looking for -6db at crossover point regardless of filter and slope? In the last couple of front sub setups I treat the front sub like another driver playing a bandpassed region and then align it using phase/summation/crossover adjustment/eq. This seems to work fairly well but takes a little bit of finagling to get it to all work together. Yesterday Andy of Audiofrog suggested giving the front sub and the rear sub the same crossover to the midbass and having them play the same band together but with their natural rolloffs. Sorry, it's been since Aug when a setting gains thread appeared and I'm lost. I could use some assistance with gain staging. The TLDR is I don’t think I’m getting the volume level I should be capable of and fairly certain gain/sensitivity mismatch somewhere is the reason. I have to attenuate all outputs by -10db or more to get a clean signal out of my amp. The logical side of me says that's why I’m losing all my ‘volume’. So i paid a deposit to a guy to build an enclosure for me for a sundown u18 v2 and he uses an app called ultimate car audio app and he swears its accurate BUT when i input the same specs he is using into other programs i am getting WAY off results. I know there are slight differences from program to program but i am seeing way too much of a difference. So what i need is this: someone to input the following data into WINISD which i am most confident about and please tell me the result you... Does anybody have any experience or thoughts on putting the mid bass drivers as dual opposing in a center console pick up truck? I figure it will eliminate a lot of colored sound by not having them in the doors. I also think that I will hear them better due to the placement and possible cleaner bass due to the dual opposing configuration.

I have been chasing an issue for a few weeks where many songs sound like the upper midrange and tweeter signals are distorting/crackling. It almost sound like the input stage of the DSP is over driven such that the output level doesn't really matter. The sound is noticeable at most volume levels. I am starting to think that the more recent updates to iphone now over drive the output of the phone but of course once you hit a digital output, volume is locked out. It sounds grainy/crackling... Does this sound like Crap on your system too?
