In trying to remove the clutch fan the already damaged water pump pulley and screws shattered and snapped off. I've managed to remove the fan blades and shrowd and am now left with a clutch, nut and nothing to grip on to. As the pulley is completely gone there's no tension either. What are my options now? Remove the water pump and try then to get the nut moving and off? Or do I just have to buy an entire replacement water pump and clutch and start again?

I didn't like the fake wood OE shifter knob and found this for $21.99. It has a grippy alcantara finish. I think it looks great. Good to handle/operate too. Elavates the cockpit a little.

I was parked next to a goddamn monster truck and the lady did know how to drive it. She pulls out and turns sharply into my car. Clips my front end, and most likely destroyed the bumper brackets on both sides. Have it all on dash cam. Geico put the liability on her. But it's been 30 years since I've been in an accident and I don't know where to go from here. Someone is coming out to inspect my vehicle probably going to lowball me on the price. Where can I find an M Tech 1 bumper... My front bumper got clipped, have to deal with insurance, not sure what to do.

Hello, I need help finding an oil leak. I was chasing all of my oil leaks, and this one has stumped me. I have replaced the valve cover gasket the valve cover multiple times, exhaust cam sensor gasket. I have replaced the oil pan, front and rear main seal and honestly at a loss. It is on the left side near the front of the engine. And when driving leaks onto my exhaust, causing it to smoke. Here is a small video I took. 2003 BMW 325I E46 bOUGHT THIS BMW but the coolant system,the thermostat had been replace ,but owner did not put back. prior purchase car owner got shipped to prison , anyway i brouhght the car by a tow truck ,i put back the radiator hose and add more coolant run it there onther leak coming from the expansion tank . replace it and yjenn another leak coming from the bottom of the expansion tank . changed the bottom hose and this time before starting it i just got me a coolant pressure tester... What do negative long-term trim % values mean? I replaced the upstream O2 sensors a few weeks ago, doing the downstream post-cat O2 sensors tomorrow. Both OE Bosch. The LT trim number has been stuck at –8.6 for both banks before and after replacing the upstream O2 sensors. The post-cat sensors both read 99.2 and that number does not change. I've driven maybe 50 miles since replacing the upstream sensors and reset adaptations after replacement. Tried logging with OBD Fusion but the log file... negative fuel trims

Hello, I recently got an E46 320i '03 as my first project car and have lately been chasing an issue that first appeared on my drive home after buying it. I've already read countless threads of misfire issues on these forums over and over, but nothing seems to entirely match what's happening to mine, and at this point I'm kinda at the end of my wits with trying to diagnose it, so I hope you guys can help out a newbie! Hi Folks! Adding a new experience I've just made. I serviced my car in October and run 5000 km. I also changed the fuel filter. I started the car after 2 weeks and I immediately smell gas, I looked underneath and fuel was leaking from the filter. I thought to the small fuel lines and/or the clamps...but surprisingly the filter had a crack. Enjoy the video! Hengst filter bought on AutoDoc. May be just bad luck but parts... Hi, I added 11 pin mirrors to my e46 coupe. (I used to have a 5 pin.) I have a problem because when I want to use the switch, it only works on one mirror up and down, and nothing happens on the other. But with the help of inpa I can move the second in each plane but I can't connect to the second. The power supply is there, the k-line also has voltage, the mass is also there. Any ideas?

This is one of those 'this seems odd' threads, no real point otherwise! On 2 separate MS43 cars now, I've gotten purge valve errors (0443, maybe?) for the electrical side being out of spec. Both times, it's been fixed by swapping in another used valve that has very similar electrical resistance. Both times, the valve in question has functioned fine on the bench, just like the one I've replaced it with, and both times the error has cleared and stayed cleared. I even went so far, on the...
