I believe I have a bad door actuator in my rear driver side door. I can't open it from the outside but I can from the inside. Assuming I have to replace it is it hard? I mean I change my own oil, spark plugs and valve cover but all of the YouTube videos I've seen involve remove the window actuator as well. If someone had experience please kindly share as I would really appreciate it! Thank you in advance!

So I have a 2012 Ford Focus and recently the rear door on the driver's side won't unlock. It has to be opened from the inside. All of the other doors are fine. Is this related to the door latch recall Ford had before? Thank you in advance.
2003 Focus SE is having gauge cluster issues. There is always power and 50% of the time everything is fine. The other 50% the temp gauge doesn't work, the odometer is just dashes, several of the lights are on, but not all of them. It doesn't seem like a wiring problem. Other research has suggested it's a circuit board problem but after disassembly I didn't see any soldering problems, shorts, or other problems but often that stuff isn't always visible. What I did notice was an area of... Gauge Cluster Instrument Cluster Malfunction

2002 Ford Focus zx3 2.0 Zetec with 5 speed manual. Looking for info/input on replacing a 2.0 Zetec with a SVT. How involved is it? I read computer and wiring required. Haven't seen much else. Thanks
First issue, took my 2016 Focus in for the emissions inspection. I recently replaced the whole exhaust pipe/cat and O2 sensors. Just finished all my other repairs and cleared all codes (a lot since battery died) last night. Took it this morning and the emissions test came back that both O2 sensors were "Not Ready". I drove over 75 miles today for the duty cycle, but I am on a time crunch to get this done because I have to get it registered this week. Sensors were not originals, but... So, I hit a curb and dented my rim. I had a local tire store order a replacement rim and swap the tire and sensor over. I went to check the torque on the lug nuts, and saw there were 2 sets of stud holes. The unused ones were concave; the ones the lug nuts were on were flat; meaning the lug nuts didn't really seat properly. I went back to the tire store, and, after accusing me of overtorquing the nuts before even looking at the car, said the second set of lug holes was for a different stud... Just bought a Focus S (4-dr, 5-spd manual) for a steal. It has 115K miles and needs some love. Already replaced the catalytic converter, plugs, battery. Going to do all 3 mounts (engine, tranny, dogbone) along with belts and oil change. I also need to replace the windshield trim (vertical on either side of the windshield). Anyone know a good place for those? Also trying to replace on of the wheel covers. I looked it up but AI said those were not available on my year. Not sure where... New (to me) 2016 Ford Focus S
I'm coming in behind people that have done stuff to the manual shifter assy and was wondering if theres a bushing on the ball at the end of the rod inside. I can't find any pictures related to the ball

Hey crowd, I've been wanting to get into some autocross racing, but I'm not sure how the ol' DSP6 will hold up in my 2012 focus. I just put in a new clutch set in upon getting the car and it drives great. I want it to last 80k more. I also do some light towing (mowers, jet ski, etc.) which it seemed to handle fine. Any opinions or experience on how these hold up to spirited driving?
This is the rear-most plastic clip holding brake / fuel / evap lines onto my '04. The clip body itself seems okay but the center has stripped out completely and it's got no grip on the screw, and the lines are sagging. Seems not ideal .. I'm wondering if I take up the carpet above there, can I access that rusty screw to replace it? Because it occurs to me to put a machine bolt there, and a washer and locknut to support the plastic clip. Good idea / bad idea? Any other solutions to... Underbody pipe clip
