Hey, I would probably go for a smaller coil diameter as the only reason I went bigger was to accommodate the leash through the center. The black LZH cable is cheaper and will also work i think. My dims were based around the duotone setup and are : "3 core 2.5sqmm Orange PUR (we don’t have black) coiled to 350mm with 1000mm and 200mm tails, totaling £24.55 + VAT. Batteries inside a cutout in the board with a sealed lid they sit over and infront of mast to balance everything out.

Just make sure the chip inside is M100 not the new B101 as it’s no good, is does not talk well with the RX.

I bought 3 belts form Aliexpress, they are too flexible, they give me back pain if I pump for several days. I will try with cutting boards I didn’t try this one. It looks fragile ?

I had saltwater in my box and the flipsky receiver and the bec are being replaced. I did not do the original build It is a bec 12s pro. One of the wires to the bec is missing (the input) and I found a random red wire laying connected to nothing this morning and a black ground wire is connected to the bec but not to anything else. I have two brand new connectors that go into the receiver one has 3 wires and one has 4. I think I am using the 4 wire version since my original setup is using a green wire. I am thinking the random red wire is the “in wire” but which wire should it be spliced into? The input on the bec should connect to the battery red connection and the black ground that isn’t connected to anything should go to the black battery connection? pictures attached I am grateful for any guidance as this whole process has been 1 step forward two steps back

Hi all. I’m new here. I’m a Kiteboarder but only foiled behind a Jetski trying to learn the foil. 7Larky came up at a good price for a person like me with my set of skills. I got a new to me 7Larky SL04. Couldn’t get the unit to pair with either of the controller so knew I had my work cut out. I dug out the receiver by following the antenna line and pulling of bits of potting one bit at a time. I free enough wire from the ESC to receiver to pop it out. I took the time to plug a servo tester into the ESC and it worked fine. It’s a Hobbywing XRotor Pro Series 80A HV ESC. When the receiver powers up and looks for a pair it flashes 2 red LED’s and that’s it. The PCB is the same as pictured on the manual. Not much markings one it. It has a generic NRF24 module on it with a Hirose U.FL. I think I have one in a part’s box here. I’ll swap that over first. I’ll get back with my progress. [edit] module is a AS01-SPIPX. Basically a NRF24 wtih a 20dBm RF amplifier.

You could use those belts for doing curls they are light and cheap and pretty wide comfortable. I have one from AliExpress it’s foam and fabric.
