The previous owner of my van (2021 350HD) replaced the stock Halogen headlights with LEDs, but they're starting to burn out after 4 years and 55,000 miles. A majority of the sections of the LED "bulbs" have gone dark and now the light pattern in front of the van is weirdly and splotchy. Are there aftermarket LED headlight conversion kits that aren't junk that will just burn out as fast as halogens, and are also properly calibrated so the light pattern is the same as the halogens? These sun visors suck, loose and flappy, anyone found an alternates $130 for each one is insane, and as many issues I see on this, there should have been a recall.

I am a service technician that spends 5 hours of my day driving between services. Navigation is mandatory for me since I refuse to use or buy a smart phone. I use my phone for talk and texting only, AND NOTHING ELSE. I just traded in my 2025 t250 mid roof with connected navigation for a 2026 t350 extended high roof. The salesman told me that the new 2026 has the sync 4 with 12” screen, same as my 2025 and that the connected navigation was included. Picked up the new van on Saturday... 2026 built without connected navigation.

I've installed a rear tailgate light bar on my 2018 Transit van using a five plug trailer plug into an adapter in the seven plug harness. Everything works except for the directional signals. I know they're functional because I've tested them with 12 volt battery. Anyone know what the problem is or the solution?

It just arrived from getting the Quigley Q-Lift, Bilstein Front & Rear Shocks, Transit Trail Running Boards, and the modified Transit Trail grille. Customer decided he wanted to go with different tires and wheels so he is taking it with the stock tires and wheels.

In another thread I was prognosticating on the fuel consumption of alternator charging. I have currently 170 amps of alternator charging configured with sterling and victron b2bs. These chargers feed my 8,000 wh house battery. (314 amp hour@24v). I get 170 amps by using both a Sterling 120 amp and a Victron xs-1400 (50 amp) charger in parallel. With the recent increase in the Diesel fuel prices, we have experienced a slowdown in the Transits delivered from the Kansas City plant to our dealership. We are getting our MR and HR Transit delivered by transport trucks to the dealership directly from the plant Enterprise lot. My van sits in the driveway and I left the lights on for I don't know how long. I wasn't worried because I keep a commercial grade jump starter in the van. Nothing. Then I ordered a cheap battery charger from Amazon and left it overnight attached to the jumper stud under the hood. That didn’t work either. Got the itch again to test some new components, and i came across a replacement for the oem 190A ccp2 relay. The new one claims it supports 260A, that being said i don’t know what the metal jumpers or stud is rated for, and i swapped the oem 175A mega fuse with a 225A mega. Goal is Im looking to pull 200a out of it. I will say my oem fuse looks like it was getting close to end of life after 4 years of constant 150amps. just put it in, so will have to see how it works long term but so...
