Rory_D_APP_Team: W10908894 Thank you so much! I suspected that, but the cable sleeve around that section had me confused. It does appear there is charred debris inside the cable sleeve so something is definitely going on there. The Jenn-Air safety department is sending someone out to look at this next week considering the burning smell, smoke, and tripped breaker. Fortunately I have 2 months remaining on the extended warranty, so hoping it’s an easy fix… I appreciate the info! Kind regards, Rich

Did you replace both fans or just one of them?

blakedpotato: SHX68T55UC That’s going to be an issue with the sump assembly 00752078, could be the seal or the sump itself but they only come together anyways so you’d be replacing both regardless.

Does it seem to heat up to about 200º and then quit heating altogether, or does it maintain that 200º?

Mjmartin: WRS325SDHZ05 Make sure you are using an OEM water filter EDR1RXD1 purchased from a reputable distributor, some of the filters you can get from places like Amazon may be a knockoff that is super close to the original but off just enough that they don’t quite work right. If the filters are OEM then you’d be looking at replacing the filter housing W11162042. As for that water line, it will need to be replaced. Start by checking for power to the igniter. Well, after replacing the fill valve, float switch, door latch, and the mother board out of desperation, it was still dead. It hadn’t run for months because of a clogged drain line under the floor. Then, the other day, I was laying on the floor once again looking at the guts of it and … it just started working by itself! I ended up replacing the drain line and all is good now after several loads of dishes. I’ll never know what fixed it because I wasn’t doing anything to it when it decided to wake up. Thanks for all the great help. Everything suggested made sense but this thing was just hibernating I guess. Cheers!
