Helli! I’m looking if anyone has got for sale the alignment tape #6780096, which is used in alignment of the VHS -recorders…?
Hi! If there happens to be anyone still interested in BEO VHS recorders, I have a intriquing problem to be solved I’m currently trying to revive a BeoCord V6000 VHS recorder back to life. I know that this is an entry level/basic model. But I still think it deserves an other life in my, quite comprehensive I could say, collection of B&O devices. And I try to keep as much as possible them alive and (back) in working condition This device under reviving is type 4401. It has got a quite strange behavior at this state of repair to be solved When you insert manually, without power connected, the cassette down to the ‘loaded’ position and power it on, it loads the tape around the drum OK, plays it, winds it forward and reverse, pauses and stops. Also it ejects it alright But jus a few seconds after the cassette has been ejected and removed, it tries to pull the cassette holder back. Tries a couple of times and then goes to standby. It protects, I have read, itself after detecting a this kind of a error in loading And if the power is on when you try to insert the cassette it starts to “repel” it and starts ejecting it, At least it seems so. This happens right after the microcontroller detects pulses from the FTA i.e. ‘threading tahco’ sensor… I first suspected that a switch or a sensor on the Tape Deck Sensor Panel unit is defect. But they all have now been checked and tested multiple times to be OK and correctly timed in relation to the cassette loading cycle Also itself the loading
Hi, If he wants the audio of what he is playing on his projector that won’t work well as he will have a delay with the video.
Hi Tlali Depending on where you are located you can use a device like this Should also be available via Amazon or alike. MM
Hi, I can help you. And potentially ship it to you, in case the seller don’t want to ship internationally. You can reach me on https://beosound5c.com
Hi, With the original BS5, you can use a USB adapter to get RCA in. And on the RCA you can connect a Bluetooth adapter. And you can obviously connect it in the other direction from the BS5 as the output and to a bluetooth transmitter. On the BS5c you can similarly have bluetooth audio, but here without any adapter. Unsure about your use case here, help us understand and we’ll try to help you
I work in video production in Copenhagen, and recently I was working on a small project involving product filming and studio lighting. While planning the shots, I started paying more attention to how much the visual design of a product affects the way it looks on camera. That got me thinking about Bang & Olufsen. Their products have such a distinctive design that they can almost become part of the story in a video rather than simply being something being filmed. The same idea applies when editing the footage. I try not to spend equal amounts of time on every small detail. The 80/20 rule in video editing is a useful way of thinking about this: a few important editing decisions can often have a much bigger effect on the finished video than hours spent making tiny adjustments. For product videos, I usually find that simple lighting works better than trying to make everything overly dramatic. With well-designed products, small details such as reflections, textures, buttons and edges can make a big difference. Moving the camera slowly around the product can also show details that aren’t immediately noticeable when looking at it normally. I’m curious how other BeoWorld members approach this. Do you prefer seeing classic B&O equipment photographed or filmed in a clean studio environment, or do you think it looks better when the equipment is shown in a real living room or listening environment? I’d also be interested to hear which B&O products you think are particularly interesting f
I’ve been working on this unit for quite some time – different problems that I hope I have fixed. One of the first problems I had was that I could not switch the unit into “standby”. That seemed to be solved and then I discovered other problems with the output stage. That solved along with other stuff I honestly can no longer remember (should have made a log) I finally was able to get it to play tape and FM. But i noticed a heavy “bleeding” between the inputs. And then suddenly – for no obvious reason – the relay just started clicking repeatedly and rapidly. If I put the unit on a dim bulb the lamp lights up as if there is some short. So I’m stuck there now and can get to the remaining problem(s). During all my work I have checked and replaced several electrolytics (all have been measured), some transistors including IC300 and IC301 on the right channel, the 15V rail rectifier have been changed, TR27 measured and is in good shape. The clicking occurs regardless of whether board 4 and 5 are connected. All the above just to say that I have been all over the unit. What I suspect but cannot find may be a short or a loose wire somewhere. It’s so difficult to work on board 2 and more that one wire have slipped and needed to be resoldered in the process. I did also exchange several dead lamps and I have a wrong/faulty potentiometer (the 50K for bass that was a 100Kohm (and it did look as if it was put in by the factury!). Sorry for the long post and for if the issue have been addres
Danke im voraus This topic was modified 53 minutes ago by Michael Jaehnel . This topic was modified 52 minutes ago by Michael Jaehnel .
hi Everyone, I hope you are well apologies for the late entrance. I have recently set up my Beosound 5/Beomaster having fallen in love with the system when I first read about it few years back. I have a lot of music on my PC which I will transfer. the question I have for making it Bluetooth connectable so that I can connect my projector, how do I do that? I have Beolink convertor, believing that I can connect the bluetooth via that. Regards Tlali
Hello Jens. Is it possible you could send me the service manual and schematics for the MS150.2 as well. Thanks in advance Best regards Jesper
