Daughters dog as posted here had to go to the vets a few weeks ago with what turned out to be slipping patella(sp) It’s the first time he’s ever had any sort of lameness and came totally out of the blue. He needed GA imaging and the one leg in particular was difficult to put back into place so she ended up with a £1500 bill. Has anyone ordered from them recently? Earlier this year it took 3 weeks for them to deliver a prescription due to them moving premises. I can't wait that long this time (vet took a long time to send prescription in the first place) and will have to go elsewhere. Currently phone lines are busy!

What on you guys do for keeping the outside part of kennels clean..? Feel like I’m missing something! They’re on a concrete base that’s painted with something to keep it waterproof. Typical indoor outdoor set up but they’re never shut in, and the outdoor is still under cover in the barn so not getting rained on. Hi all. I have a standard Shetland who stands at just over 9 hands. She needs an intermittent grazing muzzle on as lami prone, but I don't think the one I got is a great fit. I think theres too much gap between her nose and the end of the muzzle. Trouble is she has a long big head, so size wise she's pony/cob! Anyone recommend a good fitting muzzle for a shetland with good scope for adjustment? Thanks

Most effective fly spray for when riding and horse sweats. Im finding my current go to is great but fails at the smallest amount of sweat. Appreciate nothing is going to stay put once horse has lathered up in sweat - but any recommendations for what stays effective the longest? Thank you.

Hello I have taken on the care of a yard cat, he has grown a lump on his jaw and the vet has advised that we should biopsy. The vet practice provided a quote for £200 for sedating the cat (this did not include the drugs). I was a bit suprised by this as I have never been charged for actually sedating my horses (except of course for the drugs themselves). So could someone explain what the difference is between sedating a cat vs a horse? Are cats more susceptible to sedation? I am not bashing... Read more
