Any recommendations for a good product for awning cleaning and tips for cleaning it? Thank you!

Solar panel recommendations Just looking for some ideas for what panel to go for. It’s mainly to trickle charge the leisure battery. Looking at 100-150w with an MPPT. I’ve found two, ‘Low energy supermarket’ one. 150w mono panel, 15a victron mppt but it says cables are 2.5mm? Seems abit small? Second is- ‘Voltanic’ brand 120w mono, 15A Mppt, but 4-6mm cables. Has anyone used either of these and can help? Thanks, also open to suggestions.

Can anyone tell me how long the fulli tag lasts, I got one in January 2025 and was going touring in France, but had to be cancelled. We have planned our holiday now for France and Spain for May 2027 , and just wondered whether the tag will still be working after all this time. Thanks in advance

So today I tried to amend Mrs Ws car insurance, her existing policy is with Saga, went on line and was told your policy is due for renewal on 26 November, you can't make amendments on line as it is within 30 days of expiry, obviously it isn't though So next step had to telephone them, to be told you cant amend the policy because the existing insurer declined to offer insurance on the new car, but they could offer me a new policy with a different insurer for £330 So I asked a meerkat and was offered a like for like policy with an annual premium of £195. Now the new insurance is with Saga !!!!! I am getting to the stage where I wonder which planet I am living on.

members may already know this, but I had a problem with one of the arms on an Alko stabiliser. one side pad was a bit wobbly so I removed it to check it and give it a clean, upon inspection I noticed the rubber 'O' ring had split, I removed the old one and replaced it with a new one, I replaced the pad which split the new 'O' ring, my deduction was, that the groove the 'O' ring sat in probably had some corrosion that made the 'O' sit prouder than normal. I couldn't find anything that would get into the groove to remove what I believed to be rust. solution: I have a small Dremel and with it came some small abrasive disks (very thin), I didnt realise you could, but I managed using a pair of scissors to carefully trim the disk down to a diameter that would allow me to now get this reduced sized disk into the aperture of the arm and then into the 'O' ring groove allowing me to lightly clean the groove of rust etc. I replaced the new seal and pad and it worked perfectly. if anyone has... Would like abit of advice on wiring a solar to my van please. We’ve got a Bailey Phoenix 650+, battery is under the floor and fusebox is under a dinette chair. There’s a motor mover wiring box next to the fusebox that goes direct to the 12v battery I’d like to not have to take apart the dinette to access the channel that feeds cables direct to battery, can I join into where my motor mover has its wiring feed? Excuse my drawing.. I’m not an artist 😬 I’m handy at usual wiring but not had any experience with caravan wiring or solar. If I have to find better access to the battery then I will. The Live from the solar mppt would connect into a inline fuse fed from the battery and the neutral straight onto the neutral connection on the blue motor mover unit, both on feed side. Is this acceptable or daft? Thanks 🙏

Just back from 3 nights at above site. Lovely site with lovely clean facilities. Dunkeld 15 minutes walk away. Excellent stop of if heading north 👍 also cheaper than club site at Scone. Highly recommended 👌

Second In three weeks. Why always when away🙀. This is the worst. Wheel is cracked, hairline by rim. See photos. Great tyre chap at Settle. Emergency spare fitted. He's organised a specialist wheel welding firm , Nelson Quality Welding, to repair the wheel next tuesday am why i wait. Then back to Settle for final fitting.

I am considering changing from Propane cylinders to an alternative so was wondering what others use. I like the idea of filling the bottles at a petrol station if that service is still available?
