Hi went to the boat show on Saturday and was quite shocked by how small it was this year , I gave it a miss last year but I went in 2024 and it was considerably larger then , I’ve been going for many years on and off and in previous years I’ve felt that a day wasn’t enough to scratch the place but this year i did everything and had time to spare , hardly any trade stands , in years gone by I’ve seen people drag trolleys round with all sorts of show bargains, I suppose this is down the buying... Never heard of this modelo before .... so I'm up for all info I can get ... I've been online and it says it can do Navionics etc .. but also mentions latest FW updates etc. I need to download a manual and read up .. Anyone else got this model .. do you like it ?

I'm actively looking at rope cutters ahead of this winter's layup. Boat: 33' sailing boat, shaft drive, 3 blade feather-stream prop, metal P-bracket. Short list: Spurs Considered but rejected: Disc cutters. Unsure: Shavers. So, Any personal recommendations or avoids? Seems I am a little limited by shaft size - Darglow don't (yet?) do a 1" version which narrows the field to Spurs. Any I have missed. i am thinking of setting up an information website about the Searanger 448 or 48/50 boats . I have gained a lot of information on parts etc since owning mine and also through friendship with an ex-director of the factory. As there seem to be a few of us on here I thought I’d start a thread for tips/upgrades etc for interested parties. My most recent mod is to the seat slider. I’ve never really been happy with the plastic chopping board arrangement so bought one of these for c£70. Works really well, lifts the seat slightly and locks well, the only downside is that it was a pig to fit due to extremely limited access to the screws into the seat. A friend of my wife's has recently separated from her long term partner. The lady owned a boat at the beginning of the relationship ( I have no idea what it is). The outgoing male has declared that he actually owns the boat now! The lady in question needs to put a value on it as part of legal action. Is a broker the right person to contact? As it's going legal the valuation has to stand some scrutiny... Thanks in advance.

I have a Victron multi plus 24v 1200 inverter charger. It runs fine as an inverter and powers all I need. I plugged into shore power for the first time and had two problems. My Autoterm 24v diesel heater shut down due to over voltage. And I also had an alarm on the inverter when I plugged a 2kw electric heater in. I know the inverter is 1200va but thought the heater would work as I was on shore power. Am I being stupid (probably) or have I got a setting wrong somewhere.

Greetings, Tap got left on and ran tank dry (Or pump just failed) my understanding was that if not pressurising with water in the system they burnt out. Tank refilled, pump makes normal sound but no pressure - no water. There is a spares kit for this & later models look to be interchangeable but a diaphragm noted but is listed as unavailable. Am I diagnosing this right ? If so is it possible to get the part anywhere else 3rd party etc ? Or Is it new pump time £ 95 approx for the 12V Thanks
