Hi all, I recently replaced the transmission in my 2012 volt with a used one after my original failed at 302,000 miles but after it was all installed when I turn the car on it takes awhile on the initializing screen then says low fuel and throws tcm no communication and the engine control unit has no communication. The engine does not try to start at all even with the hood open. Would a transmission that is not on the most recent software cause this? Every plug is connected that I can see... 2012 Lost communication with all pcm’s

I have a 2013 volt that I just cant seem to get heat out of...it gives me small spurts but is always AC .auot defog off,coolant lvls fine,engine running or not,still says AC on and heat not on in climate screen...pulled fuse for 29 min to reset hvac,nothing. Says its pulling wattage but nothing,actuator moving fine,will blow heat sporadically. Help!!

2014 Chevy Volt 202xxx miles on it. I was driving the car and about midway through the EV range I got "propulsion power reduced" and "engine not available". Pulling the codes, I got P0700 and P0751. The dealer wants $4300 to replace the valve body. I was able to clear the codes and drive the car by disconnecting the battery, but I tested hold mode and it caused the codes to come back. My usage puts me beyond battery range pretty commonly in this car so I would have to fix this to keep the... 2014 TCM issues P0700/0751

My out of warranty (1/2026) 2018 Premiere (75000 mi) has a P0BDE TDC with a CEL, which will not pass PA emissions inspection. Dealer wants $6700 to replace the PIM, 3rd party EV speciality wants $5000 but the GM PIM is indefinitely "out of stock" with no expected arrival date. Multiple on line searches have revealed zero instances where a used PIM from a donor Gen 2 VOLT was successfully transplanted into a different Gen 2 VOLT. There are few used Gen 2 PIM boards appearing on line, so... 2018 Has ANYONE figured out how to replace a defective PIM with a used on

Interestingly, it would accept a charge (Level 2), but the message persists. We've cleared all DTC codes too. Any ideas?

71000 Miles has done EMM several time, short time; 30 minutes, and no problems,. This time it sat for 3 months EMM came on with message: "Your fuel has been so low that the fuel is becoming state. the engine will run now to burn this fuel. Add fresh fuel when the fuel level is half a tank or less. See Owner's Manual for further detail." (of course, no help there)/ I've been driving it, fuel level is just under 1/2; my driving is all in town. Page 9-25 in the 2015 manual. Maybe drain it... 2015 EMM;Engine Maintenance Mode

2014 Volt with almost 400,000km on it, all original equipment. SHVCS reprogram completed months ago. I only got one fob with my car, and it broke, so I got new fobs and had my local Chevy dealership program the car to them. Well, now the car seems to think there's a fob in the car when there's not, and the remote start function doesn't work anymore. No codes, no warning lights. Any ideas? Is my old girl just getting finicky, or do you think the dealership screwed something up? Or could... Got new fobs, now have a few issues

My Volt has been running rough when the ICE first starts. Smooths out some if it runs long enough to get warm. Anyway, took it to the dealer and after a week they called and informed me that I need a new engine. 2018 with 35,000 total miles, most on electric. They said there is no compression on cylinders 1 and 2. $15,000 to replace engine. So... thinking about parting out the beast since it is worth more as parts than as a full car. I know there is a TSB regarding the Hydraulic Valve... 2018 New Engine Needed. $15,000
